9/19 Real (i.e. inflation adjusted) per capita spending in the proposed
2010-11 General Fund budget is nearly the same as in the 1994-95
budget 16 years ago. Real per capita spending did increase during
the <DEAD>dot.com<DEAD> boom and again briefly after 2003 but current per capita
spending is below the recent long-term average.

\_ We will see. Seems unlikely.

2/20 Ok serious question, NOT political. This is straight up procedural.
Has it been declared that we didn't find WMD in iraq? (think so).
So why did we go into iraq (what was the gain), and if nobody really
knows, why is nobody looking for the reason?
\_ Political stability, military strategy (Iran), and to prevent

\_ Why not raise tuition? At private universities, students generate
revenue. Students should not be seen as an expense. UC has

"I didn't realize massage was supposed to have that effect," said Ontario Court Justice John Getliffe after hearing what happened at Mirage Exotic Massage on March 1 David Albert, 41, pleaded guilty to mischief exceeding $5,000, admitting he had trashed the front entrance because he thought money had been stolen from him. Assistant Crown attorney John Forrester explained Albert had gone to the establishment for a massage. After it was finished, he charged into the front lobby screaming and yelling. He then damaged an expensive front desk, the telephones, a heater, a lamppost and various other furnishings. Albert's lawyer, George Grant, told Getliffe his client thought $140 had been stolen from his clothing. Employees were trying to hustle Albert out without disturbing other customers, Grant said. Albert, who has a record, had been in custody for 34 days since his arrest. Getliffe gave Albert a two-for-one credit for the time in custody and sentenced him to another 30 days.
