By Bob Roberts WBBM Newsradio 780 Police are questioning two people in the Christmas Eve beating of a Berwyn man and a female friend, outside the Forest Park Wal-Mart store. A 41-year-old Broadview man picked up last night was among those in a line-up taking place at Friday afternoon. As WBBM Newsradio 780 first reported Wednesday night, a woman and a girl confronted 22-year-old Matthew Baures and a friend in the check-out line of the Wal-Mart, at 1300 Desplaines Avenue in Forest Park. Baures insists that he tried to avoid any dispute, but claims the woman summoned those who beat him and a female friend outside. Bystanders refused to intervene but gave police descriptions of those involved and of and one of the getaway cars, a light-colored Cadillac, in which the woman, the girl and two of the attackers drove off.
