Gateway Pundit Observations of the World from the Heart of Jesusland! Thursday, February 02, 2006 Islamic Society of Denmark Used Fake Cartoons to Create Story! THIS WHOLE DANISH CARTOON CONTROVERSY WAS MADE UP BY THE "ISLAMIC SOCIETY OF DENMARK" WHO SPREAD THE FAKE CARTOONS ON THEIR TRIP TO THE MIDDLE EAST! The leader of the group is a radical Islamist known for supporting the Anti-Western Islamist struggle! BBC World also aired a story showing one of the three non-published images, on 2006-01-30, and wrongly claimed it had been published in Jyllands-Posten. On the tour, the group claimed to represent 21 different Muslim organisations in Denmark, although many of these groups have disclaimed any connection. Akhmad Akkari, spokesman of the Danish Muslim organisations which organised the tour, explained that the three drawings had been added to "give an insight in how hateful the atmosphere in Denmark is towards Muslims." Akkari claimed he does not know the origin of the three pictures. He said they had been sent anonymously to Danish Muslims. However, when Ekstra Bladet asked if it could talk to these Muslims, Akkari refused to reveal their identity. These images had however never been published in Jyllands-Posten. The society also allegedly exaggerated its membership, claiming to represent all of Denmark's 200,000 Muslims, when the actual number of adherents is believed to be fewer than 15,000. Imam Ahmad Abu Ladan also tried to block the re-election of the right-wing government in Denmark in the previous election. Imam Ahmad Abu Laban, the leader of the organisation stated in Al Jazeera that Muslims should boycott Denmark, despite giving contradictory assurances to Western media. you have done a GREAT service - as you usually - with this story. html DANISH IMAM CAUGHT LYING TO EURO-MEDIA A religious leader of an Islamic group in Copenhagen - Abu Laban - has been CAUGHT speaking with two tongues: In the Danish media he is quoted as saying he is against the widespread boycott of danish goods in the middle east. An hour later on Al Jizeera TV he says that he thinks it is a great thing that the arab nations and people defend islam through the boycott. Actually, this is an old Arab Muslim trick which Arafat and Abbas used all the time. It plays upon the "willing suspense of disbelief" of Left-wing doves and appeasers. Smart people donlt fall for this trick becasue smart people know how to tell when these folks are lying. MORE: Here's a link to backgrounder from DER SPEIGEL (in English) which shows Abu Laban was one of the origianl instigators of the boycott from the start. Here's a link to and ISLAM ONLINE article (in English) in which Abu Laban claims he was against the boycott. Quote: "BBC World also aired a story showing one of the three non-published images, on 2006-01-30, and wrongly claimed it had been published in Jyllands-Posten." Try raising the issue of the fakes on their "Have Your Say" on these cartoons, and see if it appears. And not sure if you noted that the same group believed to be behind the London tube bombings is now threatening the Danes. Also, the fact that the zeal has also spread to our new friends in Iraq doesn't bode well for US troops (and journalists) there... this story about Iman Akkari and his efforts to incite the Arab World: Akkari and his group traveled together to Cairo, where they visited Al-Azhar University, which has a reputation for building bridges between Egypt and Europe. Akkari said he wanted to draw attention to the racist climate in order to prevent a repeat of the Theo Van Gogh drama in the Netherlands. In November 2004, a radical Islamist murdered Van Gogh, motivated by the filmmaker's criticism of Muslims. As to the "additional" images: For his part, Akkari said the more outrageous images were clearly separated from those published by the paper when the group met with Muslim leaders. "They were at the back of the folder," he told Stiftstidende. By including them, the group sought to show the kind of hate they feel subjected to in Denmark. story yesterday, Spiegel reported: Meanwhile, Imam Akkari, who led the delegation that sought help from the Arab World in dealing with prejudices against Denmark's Muslim community, said it wasn't his intention to stymie the right of free speech to the country's journalists. "Our intention was never to introduce censorship or to ban criticism of issues related to religion," Akkari emphasized. In recent years though, he points out, the Danish media focused an inordinate amount of attention on Muslim communities. "But now we are worried that the problem is escalating and that some people might get the wrong idea," he said. Akkari strongly condemned the bomb threat levelled against Jyllands-Posten and is quick to emphasize that he is dedicated to "the political path of discussion." That Islamists speak with forked tongue when dealing with Infidels should come as no surprise. I sense, though, that they're getting a little nervous about the backlash to the backlash. Again from Spiegel: Other Aarhus inhabitants went even further. "If they don't agree with the freedom of the press, then they should go back home," said Anne Grethe, a 59-year-old who refused to give her last name. "Most Muslims don't want this conflict," the 33-year-old said. "But I can't help thinking, if Danish companies have to lay people off as a result of the boycott, then it should be the Muslim employees who are let go first." as islam encourages sex with infants and animals then No3 should be ok (just google"islam infant sex" and see what gems you get, anyway they had to lie as the cartoons are a bit tame really. Still thanks to this we can expect all our political landscape to shift right. Regarding the three additional "cartoons," the first is obviously a drawing of some sort, but not of the quality I'd expect from someone who drew designs for a living. It is more like the crude doodlings I've seen from Palistinian publications. However, the other two are not drawings at all, but rather are staged photographs. Why hasn't anyone pointed out this obvious inconsistencey? and just one more thing--since it can be established that a Dane did not "draw" the three "cartoons" that were not published by Jyllands-Posten, and it is highly likely that (an) Islamist were involved in circulating these insulting images, then does that not mean that such images are NOT defaming to their religion? Had they actually been insulting, it would have been okay! If that's not it, then somebody out there please explain it to me. I think we should raise all the bastards as wards of a new European super soldier. We can then take our rightful place as colonizers of the world, and retake northern Africa. Who knows if we can take over the middle east and north Africa, we may grow rich enough to recolonize New York. Denmark is high democratic country, given all their respect and all rights to all minorities living in the country! Unfortunately there will always be some people who justifying own crimes on the name of God! The BBC have finally come up with a lame half-admission that the cartoons actually instigating the rioting have nothing to do with those published in Denmark. stm Interesting, once you know that the rioters have been lied to, do you feel that you have less understanding for their position, or that you have more understanding? Why do the MSM not want to tell too much about this, but want to blow it into a massive story? The numbers actually protesting against this in most Islamic states is utterly miniscule. I think that there is a vast amount of manipulation here on both sides. Reading through the comments here, I'm trying to figure out how, in any way, this relates to "liberals". What, in your eyes, has been the "liberal response" to this story? You criticize the muslims for swallowing news from dubious sources without considering the agenda of the source, yet you swallow the rants of a clearly biased extremist. The truth is between what the haters on either side of the divide are saying. The Danes shouldn't have slept through their religion-classes - how on earth did they think that caricatures of Mu...

Study: Owning A Boat Not Worth It YONKERS, NYAccording to a study published in the April issue of Boating Magazine , owning a boat is not even close to worth it. Our study proved conclusively that boat-ownership is primarily an inconvenience and a monetary black hole, editor Roger Bernbaum said. We found little to no reason to keep that thing sitting in a shed all winter just so you can tow it to the lake and pay outrageous docking fees three weekends a year. Itd be much more cost-efficient to don a yachting cap and hang out at the dockhouse. The May issue of Boating promises to explore the financial viability of seaside vacation homes. What Grieving Widow Needs Is A Day At The Spa PACIFIC PALISADES, CANow that her husband Harvey has been laid to rest and all the visiting relatives have left, what grieving widow Judith Blauser, 46, really needs is a day at the spa, friend Carrie Thomas reported Tuesday. I know that seeing poor Harvey there in the casket reminded me how long its been since I treated myself to a full-body seaweed wrap. Thomas suggested that Blauser fly to Palm Desert for a volcanic sand bath immediately following the reading of the will. Man Nods His Way To The Top BOSTONUsing his unparalleled ability to nod after his superiors speak, Thomas J. Mieritz, 39, rose to the level of vice-president at Fidelity Investments Monday. I knew Mieritz was the man for the job the instant I started talking. He was ready to get on board with every one of my proposed mutual-fund investment initiatives, Fidelity chairman Edward C. I thought, Now, theres a man who makes smart decisions without a lot of hullabaloo. Johnson added that, if Mieritz can master boot-licking, buck-passing, and myopic self-satisfaction, hell probably run the company one day. Room Scanned For Something To Sell On eBay ALBANY, CAApplying tape to the last package in a 12-item round of eBay sales, Brandon Vye scanned his bedroom for anything else he could auction off online. Zambia Tired Of Being Mentioned In News Of The Weird Section LUSAKA, ZAMBIAZambian president HE Levy P. Mwanawasa publicly chastised Reuters and 10 other news organizations Monday for featuring Zambia in their news of the weird sections. Zambia has a rich cultural history well beyond the man who can swallow razor blades, Mwanawasa said. Either feature something about Zambia besides dodecatuplets, or dont feature Zambia at all. Interestingly, in addition to being the Zambian leader, Mwanawasa is also the proud owner of the worlds longest soda-can pull-tab chain.
