About 2.3 GB is random stuff from individual users. The top 20 files
in /csua/tmp are a total of 800MB and the most recent is 3 months old.

\_ A UPS should have a rating of AH (amp-hours) or WH (watt-
hours). Also, mAH are milli-amp-hours. 1000mAH = 1AH.
1 Amp-hour at 120V = 120 Watt-hours. If your
whole system is drawing 500 watts, it will stay up for 1
hour for every 500 watt-hours your battery has.
Oh, also, the VA (volt-amp) rating tells you the maximum
amount of power you can draw.
Of course, having soda stay up doesn't help much when all
the routers go down.

When I try to connect using Yahoo it says "csua.berkeley.edu
unexpectedly terminated the connection. Please try again."

enter your password otherwise Yahoo can't check the e-mail.

I asked and got more info: money isn't the issue. The reason for
wanting a junior level person is they need someone junior enough who
is willing to do junior level work and not quit as soon as a senior
level job comes along. They don't want to underemploy someone. This
is intended to be a good learning first/second job thing for the
employee and a reliable, smart person to do stuff that needs to be
done but no one else has time for right now. They expect/hope the
candidate will stick around long term and become senior in time.

from senior to junior. Like you've had a concussion. Is that OK?

1/4 csua/csua and user/pass are two short, many sites require 5-8 char
names and passwords. What should is sign up as then? -goodCSUAer

Or csua123 or csuacsua as username. Some site require
pw diff from logins so either have a pw that is the
reverse of the login or I dunno...?

a group study session, I strongly recommend against 306, which
is not set up for group interaction; try 310, 320, 373, 380,
405, or 606. On a somewhat related note, HKN has been running
some review sessions for the CS Subject Test; the last one is
this Thu at 6:30 in 306, for 170/172 material. |
