The Last Grrr-rah I Run 4 Cal: 5K Run/Walk 2012 Sunday, April 15, 2012 | Upper Sproul Plaza 8:30 am Registration/Expo Opens 10:00 am Race/Walk Begins I Run 4 Cal: 5K Run/Walk is a charity race at UC Berkeley to encourage donations to campus departments, scholarships, programs and student groups. Afterwards, the party continues with the I Run 4 Cal: 5K Run/Walk Expo providing food, booths, activities, and live entertainment for all runners and spectators. Raise Money, Race, and Win Prizes Runners/walkers are encouraged to seek sponsorships from friends and family in support of their run. Those who raise $50 or more will receive raffle tickets to win valuable prizes from our corporate sponsors, including gift cards and athletic gear. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 males and females who finish the 5K with the fastest times. The student group or campus department that brings the most participants to the event will receive a $250 donation.
Student Alumni Relations Council (SARC), advised by the Cal Alumni Association. Campus Partners for the I Run 4 Cal: 5K Run/Walk include: University Relations, Cal Rec Sports, University Health Services, and Army ROTC.
