Michael Winter, USA TODAY Updated The leader of an alleged Baltimore religious cult and two followers have been found guilty of murder for the starvation death of a 1-year-old boy whom they believed was possessed by an "evil spirit" because he did not say "Amen" after lunch one day. The boy's mother had already pleaded guilty and testified against the three last week. She added that she still believes "that my son is coming back." Ramkissoon was living with Antoinette and the other defendants in a strict religious household that police called a cult. She has pleaded guilty to child abuse resulting in death, and expects to receive a 20-year suspended sentence, plus inpatient counseling and five years' probation.
