"There are a lot of really young computer users who want to own a retro-looking computer," he said. Report Abuse I owe my very good paying job to a Vic 20, it was a predecessor of the C64. Back then if you didn't know how to write a program your computer didn't do anything except play the game or 2 that came with it. This is a cool idea but I doubt they will sell many, now I would buy an actual VIC 20 just for nostalgia and so my kids can see the computer I used to use. I would not buy a computer that looks like a VIC 20 but is really a new computer.
