7/11 "Paul the Oracle Octopus goes eight for eight, is amazing"
        http://www.csua.org/u/r4b
How did one octopus guess something that has 1/256 probability???
\_ I once rolled eight "1"s in a row at Risk.
\_ But you would be in the spotlight only after you rolled eight
"1"s, just like lottery winners. OTOH that octopus was already
in the spotlight when the World Cup started.

Google Wave No More. The people who worked on it were pretty smart.
They wrote up a super awesome OKR with extremely low bar as a measure
of success, exceeded everyone's expectations by going above those
bars, and got big fat bonuses and promotions as a result of their
        planning. Brilliant.

Paul the Oracle Octopus is clearly the biggest winner of the World Cup after recording a perfect prognostication record whether he knows it or not (he probably doesn't). The big question was whether Paul's predictive superpowers would translate to the final - the first match he was asked to predict that did not involve his native Germany. as he predicted, the European champions Spain became world champions for the first time with an Andres Iniesta goal in extra time. And as the Spanish celebrated, Paul floated in his tank, sure of his genius and probably craving a fresh clam. See Paul the Oracle Octopus in action Since Paul is an international celebrity of the highest order now, everyone wants a piece of him - both literally and figuratively. spoken of his desire to protect "Pulpo Paul" and the mock up of a new version of Spain's flag could be dangerously close to becoming real. Well, he'll probably continue to live out the remainder of his days at the Sea Life aquarium in Oberhausen, Germany, no longer forced to pick his food out of flag-covered boxes while surrounded by an obscene number of media types. He will swim at his leisure and continue to be oblivious to the existence of sports. He will retire a winner and a global sensation - what every other octopus (and even a few pundits) wishes they could be. Report Abuse REFREE ALS HELPED THE SPANISH TEAM NOT GIVING A PENALTY WHEN ROBBEN WAS CLEARLY FOULED. BESIDES RIGHT BEFORE THE GOAL HOLLAN SHOULD HAVE HAD A CORNER KICK. HENCE PAUL RATHER PREDICTED THAT THE REFREE WILL INFLUENCE THE OUTCOME OF THE GAME IT IS HOW YOU LOOK AT IT. Report Abuse TEX COLORADO It just shows that you do not know the power of Jesus Christ in you life to rate an octupus to Jesus Christ, the one who created it, you now make them equally, Becarefull of the words that you use.... Report Abuse The manner how the game was played was not for the championship like. Am for Spain and bit for it but with the actions of the referee, it is rather SWITZERLAND who had defeated Spain is my world cup champion.
