8/17    I just learned that they sell hover mowers in the UK.  A lawn mower
        that hovers like a hovercraft.  Weird. (See Flymo Hover Mower)
        \_ Can it work?  If a mower keeps blowing air download to stay alift
           in the air, I'd think the downdraft would push the grass onto the
           ground and make it hard to be cut.
           \_ I wondered the same thing.  I was only able to find one review
              of the mower, (it was positive, but I didn't really find it
              trustworthy.) but Flymo still sells the things, so somebody
              must be buying them.
           \_ A lot of mowers have weights to keep the grass down and give
              it a better cut. Greens mowers do this.
