9/18 Does anyone find Domino's Pizza commercial offensive? There's
this pencil looking rapper dude that looks like a condom on a
dick, and he speaks ghetto and has really realy ghetto
        offensive rapper dick gesters:
\_ "Pasta Dude! Pasta Dude!" He's saying his name. Mind you,
it's still way the hell past dumb. More here:
  (Mo'Kelly Report)
\_ I'm still thinking prostitute even though he mumbled
pasta dude. I think it's intentional.
\_ Thanks, this really cracked me up. It does look like the Mom
whacked it right when it started jacking off or something.
\_ Exactly. This is really ghetto and offensive. A dildo
raps and jacks off in front of the kids. I really really
              find this commercial disgusting. -op
\_ Sorry, op, not seeing annything but dumb here.

7/2 Not a troll: What's the best way to get to a Family Planning
specialist, for abortion? The website for my health care (PPO)
doesn't seem to point anywhere to abortion. Is Planned
Parenthood a good place for this sort of thing, or is it better
        for teenagers?
\_ go to Planned Parenthood. there you go.

7/19 After you try sex without condom, everything else is like...
        watching Gigli (the movie). Blah!
\_ Hint: Caucasian girls are more likely to take the pills.
\_ Is this condom guy? Did you finally get your wish of
           condomless sex? Congratulations!
\_ Good news: Yes, he did

College students to pay $22/month instead of $10/month for birth
control pills. About 39% of undergraduate women use oral
contraceptives. WAIT A MINUTE. When I was dating in Cal NONE
of the girls were on pills. WTF???
\_ When were you dating at Cal? 1953?

5/16 Liquid condom:
        \_ Sounds hoaxish
\_ I hope this doesn't burn as badly as spermicides that are
           usually 10% Nonoxydyl

10/11 Are there any CSUA'ers in NYC, or who know things to do in NYC? steven
and I are doing the tourist thing.
\_ I thought the Empire State Building was much better than I
expected it to be. The museums are all stellar, especially the
Met, MoMA, and Natural History Museum. Lots of good
plays/shows/concerts. Top notch restaurants. Worth seeing the Statue

10/12 In the same spirit as below, I'm going to be in the Florida Keys
for a few days Thanksgiving Week. Any recs on what to do, where
to stay, what to eat. All I know about is going snorkeling.
Also in Miami for a day and half, if you have any recs there.
\_ You know how when you depart from an airport you need to pay

4/7 Speaking of restaurants, I referred a friend to the Slanted Door
based on its stellar repuation. She called it 'The PF Chang's of
Vietnamese food'. Has it really gotten that bad or does she have
        her head up her ass?
        \_ Head. Ass. Up.
\_ Ya that's exactly it. But it's so much more expensive, I think you'd

4/7 Where can you get good food for $10? I went to an Italian restaurant
last night. Pizza/pasta was only $13 or so, but with an appetizer and
dessert the meal was over $50 (no drinks, 17% tip). And it was ok food,
with homemade gnocchi but didn't taste like anything that you couldn't
make at home with a little effort. No comparison to actual good Italian
restaurants (e.g. Bar Bambino, Delfina, SPQR) that are in the $30-50/pp

4/3 A few days back someone was advocating going to good restaurants over
saving money. I'm curious, I've never been to a really expensive
restaurant. (Over $30 per person.) In general I've found that once I
get beyond about $10 the food doesn't get any better, instead I start
paying for stuff I don't care about, like "atmosphere." Which
basically means I've rarely been to a restaurant where the food

1/13 I need to make a main dish that starts with 'U' for a potluck. All
I've come up with is Udon and Unagi. Neither of which really work
        for a potluck. Any suggestions?
\_ Umeboshi. Uno pizza. Uni. Urchin. Ethnic food from Uganda or
Ukraine or Urugray, or the United States of America for that matter.
Any new dish you invent with a label "U name it!".

8/30 I'm not motd boob guy, but I got pizza for lunch.
and there were 3 chatty eighth grade girls, one of them
was really skinny with absolutely ENORMOUS breasts, wearing
a tight tank top. DD at least. remember these kids just
started the eighth grade. There's a junior high school

In fact, you'll be hard pressed to find it anywhere now, even online. A Hip-hop "thing" rapping about pasta was a bit over the top for some. Mo'Kelly didn't mind it, but wasn't surprised it got pulled. Yeah, I'm not sure what those particular hand gestures were supposed to be either. I mean, the upper hand was in the right place for the "smack it, flip it, rub it down", but there was entirely too much motion going on from the other hand. Oh, and I looked for "pasta dude" on youtube, and found a different version of the commercial with a different voice and different- but still inappropriate and very suspect- hand gestures or motions. I live in the Los Angeles area and the original commerical is still being played here. I swear, one night, it was on for every commerical (played approx 5 times in an hour). I'm actually looking online to see if they have a Pasta Dude doll to purchase. As someone stated, it's shown often in LA - which is how I found you. It's crazy funny to me, but like you said, obvious why it would be offensive. I laughed and did a search though and your site came up. Glad to see I am not the only one thinking it's ridiculously funny! the revised version is now airing here in la funny thing though i know someone who thought that the character was saying "prostitute" rather than "pasta dude." with the old version of the commercial this idea that "prostitute" is said while he's "slapping it up" is an even controversial - and funnier - prospect! is there a system of checks & balances with the ad team at domino's corporate office? the revised version is now airing here in la funny thing though i know someone who thought that the character was saying "prostitute" rather than "pasta dude." with the old version of the commercial this idea that "prostitute" is said while he's "slapping it up" is an even controversial - and funnier - prospect! is there a system of checks & balances with the ad team at domino's corporate office? It's amazing to me that "nobody" thought that a gumby like toy smacking asses would be slightly offensive/controversial. Granted, not offensive to me, but from an ad agency standpoint, how did it make it through every level without getting kicked back? By day, Mo'Kelly is producer/editor of a nationally syndicated radio program for a top public affairs and pop culture pundit. You've probably heard of him but Mo'Kelly can't say who it is specifically.
