shreddedmoose.comthe trend had been that I was uploading one of my drawings once a week, typically on Wednesdays. of course with nothing set in stone anything could change at the drop of a hat, or click of the mouse, such is todays case. Trip wanted to go over and refine some points for the ongoing story arc and requested some extra time to do so. I said no and cut off his hands, and thats the real reason theres no comic up today. the bit about the story arc is indeed why we postponed the comic for today. Were having some back and forth dialog about the details and path wed like to follow. Trip wants more intrigue and depth, Im angling for my tits and mud-flaps; Anyway, todays girl is another example of a coloring I did back when I was using the Flash method; But I was and am really pleased with how this project turned out. This one was actually commissioned a couple years ago but I think it still holds up, even at high-res (I think the original was around 5000 pixels high). Of course Id make a few changes were I drawing her now: neck shorter, eyes smaller, teeth less pronounced, different detail in the toes. One thing you might notice in most if not all of my drawings featuring bare feet, is that I only draw the toenail on the big toes. The reason is because if you get too detailed with the toes (ie. drawing each and every toenail) you can run the risk of making the feet less petite and more whats the word? and those arent usually good traits when drawing females. Its not a universal rule of course, it really depends on your style; Quasi-related: Im brainstorming over some new name to call it when I post my drawings. Even though they mainly show up on Wednesdays, Im not totally feeling the Wednesday Wench moniker. Friday Frulein is cool, and Monday Mdchen is also diggable; but I think Im looking for something more universal that can be applied to any day of the week. I already considered Brews Bitches, but Im thinking something a little more elegant and friendly, given my appreciation of the female form (and no, not Shredded Sluts either).
