8/25 Pajamas Media sent Zombie to Denver, and it's already hilarious
        http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/live-from-dnc-its-zombietime-day-1
Apparently there will at least be daily updates
\_ This is hilarious? Not really. Good coverage of stuff the MSM
           is sure to ignore though.
\_ should the mainstream media really report on nutjobs with
              al-Sadr banners?
\_ Dude, if a bunch of pampered white kids marching behind an Al-
Sadr banner isn't funny, I don't know what is.
\_ How do you know they are pampered? If he interviewed one and
found out he was a Trustafarian that might be funny, but for
all you know they are poor kids.
\_ Hahaha. Take a look at those guys. They are NOT poor.
They are rich kids trying to dress how they think angry
                    poor people might dress.
\_ You don't know that. I protested after the Rodney King
verdict and I was a poor-ass redneck kid in college.
\_ A) These ain't the Rodney King protests. B) LOOK AT
THEM. Seriously, have you honestly never met
                          people like this?
\_ You are probably right, but you can't tell if
someone in jeans and a t-shirt is poor just by
looking at them. Everyone I know like this lives
pretty cheaply, but they all come from middle-class
                             backgrounds.
pretty cheaply, but they all come from middle-
                             class backgrounds.
        \_ Fox New's take:
          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CoDsQ2VNArI
          Fuck Fox "News" indeed.

The PJM/LGF/zombietime photo team had not yet arrived in Denver, but luckily fellow photojournalist and LGF/zombietime stringer "El Marco" was on hand to record the day's goings-on. jpg The day's theme was "End the Occupations" (yes, that's occupations with an "s," since anything the US does counts as an "occupation"). Recreate 68 -- the organization formed specifically to protest this convention, using as their guiding principle a desire to recreate the riots outside the notorious Democratic National Convention in Chicago in 1968 -- were the primary instigators, with various radical, anarchist and left-wing groups joining in. Later in the day was a more loosely organized "Reclaim the Streets" protest (shown here) which basically entailed anarchists confronting the police for the sake of confronting the police. operated a torture chamber inside a mosque and routinely executed people. Keep in mind that these are the same kinds of protesters who endlessly whine about Abu Ghraib. If opposing and defeating people like al-Sadr's torturers counts as "imperialism," I'll take imperialism any day. jpg The march kicked off with a rally in front of the Colorado State Capital, with various left-wing celebrities such as Cindy Sheehan, Ward Churchill and Cynthia McKinney speaking while standing next to this banner, which purports to merely make a case for moral equivalence (bad enough), but which is actually pretty obviously anti-US and pro-Saddam. Emerson: Rich white kids engaging in scream therapy and the destruction of retail stores. If they weren't Chicken-Commies they'd live in one of the glorious marxist utopias, like North Korea or Cuba. Aug 25, 2008 - 8:20 am LCarlin: Bravo counter-protestors! Aug 25, 2008 - 8:23 am Ash: I bet very few of them are in paid, regular employment. Do you think the cops and protesters called each other before hand and asked "what are you wearing?" The black ensembles are obvious, but the blue accessories? The Anarchists go with blue swim goggles while the cops bring matching blue zip ties. Aug 25, 2008 - 8:27 am Jay: Good work Zombie, I'll be looking forward to updates. Aug 25, 2008 - 8:27 am righty: The protester carrying the "Humanity Needs" banner looks like kind of a babe. Aug 25, 2008 - 8:32 am Jeffersonian: I'd say that the War on Hygiene has been won many times over amongst this primitive set. Aug 25, 2008 - 8:33 am Marco: I came here for the pics of the cute protest babes, and am seriously disappointed. Aug 25, 2008 - 8:37 am Kevin: This was their school projects. They could only do it on Sunday though because they had to get back to their indoctrination courses today. Looking at the banners/placard from the fools and the placards put up by the counter-protesters, really shows the difference in philosophy. The counter-protesters assume you can read and comprehend, the fools assume your are a idiot by keeping it simple. Or are the fools only showing just how little of a real education they are receiving? Aug 25, 2008 - 8:39 am vashnugel: A bunch of those kids are probably wearing the bandanas over their faces so their mommies and daddies won't recognize them if they happen to see any pictures of these clowns. If mommy and daddy do recognize them, they might cut the kids off from their allowance. Aug 25, 2008 - 8:41 am Sam: I guess I'm a fascist because I consider these leftists to be enemies of America and think that they should be treated like such. Aug 25, 2008 - 8:45 am Jeffersonian: Hey, they're covering their faces. Aug 25, 2008 - 8:49 am Good Lt: Somebody should go around asking them how much they paid for their clothes, cell phones, sign materials, tickets to the event, for food, etc. I'm seein' a lot of garb on these idiots that costs money to buy and feeds the capitalist machine. If these rejects are the future, then America is worse than doomed. Aug 25, 2008 - 8:50 am Soccermom: If it's this bad at the DNC, just imagine the freak show that will come out for the RNC. com: I'm sure Bill Ayers is gently wiping a small, proud tear from his eye as he sees the fruit of his labor manifested in Denver. For all of you haters that commented that the Bill Ayers, Barack Obama Chicago Annenberg Challenge failed to produce results. Well, I spit on your capitalist pig SUV because here we see the hard proof that the communist revolution is alive and well. Aug 25, 2008 - 8:59 am Gary Ogletree: I'm just so impressed by all the desperados with handkerchiefs over their noses. Aug 25, 2008 - 9:06 am RKV: BZ Keep the great photos coming. Aug 25, 2008 - 9:11 am Lowtech: Communism and Revolution: When killing a 100 million people just isn't enough. Thank God, however, that America allows this dissent without removing the dissenters permanently and without trace. Aug 25, 2008 - 9:16 am Brown Line: And this will be appearing on tonight's MSM newscast, right? Aug 25, 2008 - 9:26 am CR: "Wait -- is this a protest, or a fashion show?" Aug 25, 2008 - 9:28 am joybob: I believe the goggles and handkerchiefs are in preparation for the possible dispersion of tear gas. Aug 25, 2008 - 9:31 am esgeness: Isn't it illegal to march with your face covered like that? gus3: @jonathan: "Thank God, however, that America allows this dissent without removing the dissenters permanently and without trace." Precisely what puts the lie to the so-called "anarchists". If things really were as bad as they claim, they'd be the first ones silenced. Aug 25, 2008 - 9:43 am Scrit: So I've been watching these protests for the last five years or so, and I can see that the demonstrators have managed to come around to the conservative viewpoint. That is, back when all this started, it was make peace, not war. v=mc6XJ_J1o4A Aug 25, 2008 - 10:27 am iowavette: Don't know about you, but my bet is these kids are mostly unemployed. Clearly, critical reasoning faculties are significantly withered. Aug 25, 2008 - 10:32 am Alek: I would love to see how these protesters would have been treated by the Baath party during Saddam's heyday. Although on the bright side, the SSS(Saddam's secret police) would have been busy for a couple hours. Chuck Pelto: TO: iowavette RE: Critical Reasoning Facilities'? Clearly, critical reasoning faculties are significantly withered. It's the way the Dimocrats like their people, uneducated. Looks like a possible case of unintended consequences' to me. jvon: I'm willing to bet a lot of these people are still supported by their parents -- who work white-collar middle class CAPITALIST jobs. I'd also bet that the reason a lot of thoses masks are on is because if someone recognized them on TV they might get their allowance cut in half. JJ Sefton: This is what non-parenting, or unwashed baby-boomer parenting, gets you. Has anyone bothered cluing in these automatons that the Dems lost, and lost big in 68? But don't be surprised if those who actually operated in 68, and now firmly control the democrat party, prevent the foolishness going on in the streets. It was foolish/stupid back in 68, it's stupid/foolish now. What we are seeing here is a continuation of the juvenile thought process of the protesters from the 60's. See as children we are taught ideas in very simplistic terms. Then as we grow we are eventually taught that things are always so pronounced. Once we reach adulthood, it is assumed that we are able to realize just how much more gray the world is, but that there is such a thing as good/evil, black/white, etc. These protesters only show they have missed out on several key issues. That one at times must make choices that are unsavory, that doing nothing can be far worse than doing something, and vice versa, and only experience can help determine the difference. Not once have they considered what would happen to them in a nation that truly practices what they preach. Aug 25, 2008 - 9:28 am Nah, you stand a better chance of having a civil discussion with a Tusken Raider. Aug 25, 2008 - 11:20 am Whitehall: Geez, in 1968 at least they had cute hippie chicks! Failing that, please accept our gratitude for going where the moonbats are and showing us what they do. The ones screaming slogans in the middle of the street, daring police to touch th...

Good comment Marked as spam Reply Not defending these kids ( many of them are just in it for thrills) But, the 1968 "riots" were actually the police rioting. Films from 68 taken from multiple camera angles by different news services show that the police started the violence and were way over-the-top with their use of force. I hope we do not see that this year, from the kids or the police. They were anti-social punks like today's criminals and dopers. The type of crowd in this video is where Hitler drew his storm troopers. Good comment Marked as spam Reply These leftist slugs are, no doubt, sucking on the American teat with no appreciation or knowledge of where it comes from! Good comment Marked as spam Reply Goebbels was a devout socialist. Unable to defend their fascist politics, Liberals are always trying to smear their socialist stench on others.
