Good comment Marked as spam Reply I'm actually a bit surprised that this is one of the FEW you can get working... this one is rather tricky because (at least with most of the copies I've seen), it requires PCLOAD9 to be loaded as a separate image or it won't boot properly. Either the first disk image is corrupt, or the emulators just don't seem to read it correctly...
Good comment Marked as spam Reply No I can get a lot of other games to work, but for whatever reason this one is the most stable. I've even managed to start a new game and save it - it's just like having a C-64 again :) Great game - I like how it goes from map (top) view to 3D dungeon view - a lot of cool aspects to a RPG for its time.
Good comment Marked as spam Reply This is the very first computer RPG I ever played. I was about eight years old when this came out, and I remember playing it with my father. Ever since then, I've been an avid RPG player, but the only game I've ever enjoyed as much as this one is its sequel, Legend Of Blacksilver.
Good comment Marked as spam Reply To this day Legacy of the Ancients stand out in my mind as one of my all time favorite role playing games. I just loved the 10 mintue ending that chronicles your entire quest. It was a nice change from the usual "THE END" at the end of a game.
Less info) As kind of an intermission from Demon Stalkers, I have here the Scenes From Legacy demo from Legacy Of The Ancients. Unlike most of my current videos, this has NOTHING to do with skill or gameplay. This is just so people don't have to get and load the game(whether emulated or real) to see this.
