Good comment Marked as spam Reply KerryBerkeley- You must have voted for Bush II. Obama couldn't possibly make our country any worse, it is so bad it can only go up. Shrinking middle class, high unemployment, too many children left behind, unaccounted for billions of dollars in Iraq, Incompetent appointees throughout the administration, corporate welfare, the war,no fiscal responsibility, defict, no bid contracts, record level corruption... All of it is hypocritical from the so called party of values. Good comment Marked as spam Reply I think that we should stop calling these criminals in power now Republicans. Now, there is no concern for any actual people in America - it's all about Oil, Lobbyists, corporate greed, Dominionism, War profiteers... A new name for these Neo-Con-Cheneyist-Bushist creeps Repugnatans! Good comment Marked as spam Reply He should have shut up right away instead of making himself look worse. All IGNORANT and do nothing but run off at the mouth spew no facts and spew hate. Good comment Marked as spam Reply Did anyone catch Michelle Bernard's comment on Hardball? "There will be race riots in this country if Obama isn't on the ticket." Good comment Marked as spam Reply People in the military are SUPPOSED to be non-political, whatever their personal beliefs. Unfortunately, the modern US military is chock-full of hardcore End-Times Jesus freaks and wingnut extremists. If General Washington had been a NeoCon Republican during the attempted 1782 Newburgh mutiny (see a book or wikepedia, GOPers), he wouldn't have calmed down his officers, but led them in killing everyone in Congress and crowning himself Jesus' Regent In America, and screw all that freedom stuff. Good comment Marked as spam Reply Well I haven't seen a better example of a Republican 'talking points' interview ever. If all you can do is repeat, like a trained monkey, meaningless drivel the only voters you will attract are--monkeys. Good comment Marked as spam Reply I find it hard to "take" Mr Bush out of context. Being as, most of the time, no one including the President has a clue as to what he is talking about. Same bet, the current administration, should have a no talk policy until 09'.

White House press secretary Dana Perino has been front and center of the White House's push to continue to label Iran a rogue state for its pursuit of uranium enrichment technology. This comes against the backdrop of a new intelligence estimate positing that the Islamic state abandoned its nuclear weapons in 2003. Turns out she doesn't know quite so much about nuclear weapons as she supposes. Appearing on National Public Radio's quiz show, "Wait, Wait ... Don't Tell Me," this weekend, Perino admitted a story she'd previously only shared in private: When a reporter asked her a question during a White House briefing in which he referred to the Cuban Missile Crisis -- she didn't know what it was. "I was panicked a bit because I really don't know about . the Cuban Missile Crisis," said Perino, who at 35 was born about a decade after the 1962 US-Soviet nuclear showdown.
