LOCATION: gopher, gophers, gopher trapping, gopher exterminating, gopher damage, stopping gopher damage, gopher killing We need trappers in ALL states and Canada. Hot spots are everywhere but we are getting hundreds of calls from: California, Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. There are thousands who are searching for SAFE, CHEMICAL AND POISON FREE ALTERNATIVES for the elimination of their gophers. WOMEN ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY - Ladies, dirty diapers, cleaning up after kids and families are tough jobs and if you can do that, you can do this! Sure it's gross and stinks but you will love being able to set your own hours and break into a new and rewarding service that makes a real difference. Guys, if you can't clean up after your child or dog, you will not be able to handle this work, the smell alone will immediately affect you! Provide gopher trapping within your area, without the use of any chemicals, poisons, baits, lures, explosive devices, flammables, water, etc. We are environmentally safe and we stay away from anything that can poison or injure children, domesticated and wild animals. You will be required to use your own vehicle which must be in good condition, respond to calls, deal with homeowners, business owners, contractors and management companies. You will have to follow our training and trapping rules, sign our non-compete contractual agreement and work a minimum of 5 days per week. Weekend work will give you additional income at a higher rate. You will have to be able to travel throughout your assigned area/region, be polite and friendly with customers. PHYSICAL RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS: gopher, pocket gophers, trappers, gopher exterminating, gopher traps, how to kill gophers, we have photos and video of gophers This job requires you to perform specific work and in specific conditions that will require physical activity. This position is demanding and considered extremely hard work and laborious. You will be required to walk, kneel, dig, set tra ps, check and remove traps, throughout small properties up to golf courses and farms. This position requires that you work in all weather conditions; This position also includes working with animals, animal carcasses, handling gopher traps and the removal of the gopher from the trap, bagging and containment and disposal. This job demands walking, kneeling, lifting, digging with shovel and hand shovels, laying in dirt and many times, ants and other insects. Applicant must be able to handle strong odors, feeding flies and maggots, as well as decomposition of trapped gophers. In live captures, you must be able to capture without harm, and transport to only the facilities that accept gophers for the feeding of rehabilitating big birds. This job will expose you to dangerous situations, which you will likely come in contact with snakes, insects, domestic and wild animals. This type of work can possibly affect your health due to heat, exhaustion, sun stroke, insect bites and possible reactions, snake bites and possible reactions, exposure to gopher urine, dust and microbes that may cause illness, bites from gophers. Applicant will be required to sign agreement holding The Gopher Getters, LLC and all Owners, Partners, Associates and Employees harmless of any injuries or illness. If sub-contractor, you will be responsible for your own insurance coverage. You will be required to apply, receive and hold all required licenses needed for your location. You must be able to perform this work without any assistance by any client. You must have a drivers license and current insurance and if you lose your insurance coverage, you will not perform any work for The Gopher Getters, LLC. Applicant will be required to sign non-compete, proprietary rights, non-disclosure of trade secrets, indemnity, secrecy, covenants and confidentiality agreements, in order to protect our trade and unique skills and knowledge that has been passed down for generations. Applicant will be required to provide a medical clearance from a licensed MD or DO Applicant may be required to pass a polygraph test and drug screening and we reserve the right to request those to be completed, prior to hiring and also after being hired. Most importantly, if you have a weak stomach, this will NOT be for you! Occasionally we do have dogs that try to chase and bite, not too often though. The more information you put out, the more work you will have. Add with the referrals from satisfied clients and our signs, you will stay busy. You will be a sub-contractor, working for our company and as such, we take a small percentage and the rest is yours. For those who prefer being an employee, then we will speak with you regarding your expected wages. POSITIONS: Regional Managers/trappers If you have people in your area, you can bring them in only after they have completed our training, it would then be your responsibility to handle their pay, benefits, etc. If we hire them, you will only have to work with them on large jobs and possibly on days the others are unavailable. Providing a unique and specialized service, business taxes only (we provide services only), set your own hours (customer usually doesn't care about the schedule once the initial visit is completed. Provide your community with environmentally safe services. health, dental, vision, disability for those who do not want to sub-contract. The client will be grateful and be happy to refer you to their neighbors, family and friends. SKILLS NEEDED: Pocket Gopher Trapped Strong stomach, healthy, able to walk, kneel and lay in dirt. Own your own vehicle, in good condition (we do not want a banged up, spray-can paint job, smoke bellowing car/truck to be driving with our signs on them), and with insurance. You must have a brain in your head, be able to follow exact directions, he happy and be able to communicate with people on a friendly atmosphere. You must be able to handle working outside all day in the heat/cold, be able to dig a hole, fix sprinkler lines or drip lines (in case you break them). You MUST know what a shovel is, how to use it and not lean on it (this should eliminate government workers). YOU CANNOT BE ALLERGIC TO ANTS, BEES AND OTHER VENOMOUS INSECTS! You must be able to run in the event there is a snake in the area or inside a tunnel. You must have a sense of humor and be able to NOT waste time talking to customers. REQUIREMENTS: Gopher Trappers You Must be able to take our training course, pass all exams, including ongoing education. not more than 1 accident per year and not more than 2 tickets per year. Disclosure of any and all criminal charges, regardless of dismissal, probation or parole. You must have a telephone, internet access, with e-mail, a fax machine and an alarm clock that works. Car insurance, liability is a must, regardless if your state requires it or not. licenses, permits and liability insurance (inexpensive for each). You may also have to take specific courses, depending on your state. If you are on any type of disability or welfare program, it must be disclosed (this is a great job that can get you off assistance programs). You must speak fluent English and be able to be understood. If you are under 18 years of age, you must provide permission from parent/guardian or emancipation documentation. You will be required to have a health physical and submit it to us when you send in your application. Other information needed on application is for our records for ID badges, etc. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: If you are bi-lingual, big marks for this. Bigger marks if you are fluent in ASL and can work without assistance. Deaf/HOH are always welcome but you must have access to Internet/TTY.
