4/11 New UN Human Rights Appointee is a 9/11 truther http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives2/2008/04/020272.php \_ The new UN Human Rights council is worse than the old. They passed 8 or more resolutions against Israel, and _nothing_ else. Nothing on Darfur, nothing on Zimbabwe, nothing on China. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMEw0lZ3k_Y http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhWgZu6tcZU \_ Yes, because that's what happens when you create an .org like the UN that treats dictators, thugs, theocrats and other forms of human trash like real people and give them votes on anything. Want to do some good in the world? Shoot all those guys. If their replacements are just as bad, keep shooting. They'll get the message after a few funerals. Instead we treat them like royalty. As if they were legitimate leaders. \_ I'd like to shoot some people that I think suck too. Let's start with you. Then the rest of your family! \_ If me and my family were mass murdering butchers then I'd say go ahead. Since we're not and the people I'm talking about are, how about you try again? Or better yet, don't bother since your first response was so lame. \_ The UN is all mass murdering butchers? Who, precisely, has the UN murdered? \_ You = reading failure. We've already covered the UN staff cashing in on the global sex slave trade, but if you had actually read the this thread you'd know it was specifically about the UN HRC. Try again. The UN itself is responsible for deaths by inaction, not specifically murder but you don't really care about that either, you just want to play rhetorical gotcha games (and lose). \_ It is not my fault that you are incoherent. The reason your words are so confusing is because your thinking is so muddled. I will give you a second chance to answer the question: who, specifically, do you think is a mass murdering butcher? I assume from some of your rant above that do you think is responsible for mass murdering people? I assume from some of your rant above that you think that these people are on the UN HRC. Who are you talking about? Can you even name one of them? |

www.powerlineblog.com/archives2/2008/04/020272.php has appointed Richard Falk, a former Princeton professor, to a six-year term as "special investigator on Israeli actions in the territories." Israel has denounced the appointment, since Falk is a virulent critic of Israel. Falk has written that Israel is comparable to Nazi Germany, and he has condoned mass murder bombings by Palestinians, while accusing Israel of "state terrorism." For those who don't frequent the fever swamp, a "truther" is someone who believes that the United States government carried out the September 11 attacks. Falk recently said in an interview: It is possibly true that especially the neoconservatives thought there was a situation in the country and in the world where something had to happen to wake up the American people. Whether they are innocent about the contention that they made that something happen or not, I don't think we can answer definitively at this point. All we can say is there is a lot of grounds for suspicion, there should be an official investigation of the sort the 9/11 commission did not engage in and that the failure to do these things is cheating the American people and in some sense the people of the world of a greater confidence in what really happened than they presently possess. Falk also wrote a preface to a "truther" book called The New Pearl Harbor, in which he said: There have been questions raised here and there and allegations of official complicity made almost from the day of the attacks, especially in Europe, but no one until Griffin has had the patience, the fortitude, the courage, and the intelligence to put the pieces together in a single coherent account. This is the sort of person the UN's Human Rights Council deems ideally-suited to monitor and report on Israel's treatment of the Palestinians. We'll give the last word to former UN Ambassador John Bolton: This is exactly why we voted against the new human rights council. |

Prequel: The APPROVED Speeches at UN Human Rights Council Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Good comment Marked as spam The UN Human Rights commission has been hijacked by despots. It has done a few good things on NK, but as this video shows it can be unhelpful to hurtful. Good comment Marked as spam this video reflects the decadence of present politics. No wonder nowadays, young people show no interest, no respect, and no faith in politics. The Muslim countries, which happen to have a majority have turned the UN Human Rights Council in a ridiculous farce. Nevertheless, other countries which due economical or political opportunism, (or maybe only hate towards Jews), are to blame for supporting this lying circus by cooperating with the evils, or just keeping a profitable silence... Prequel to the banned UN Watch speech of March 23rd reveals the invective and truly offensive statements that are in fact welcomed by the supposedly reformed UN Human Rights Council. Insults against ambassadors and mocking of human rights experts; demonization of Israel -- all of that and more is deemed admissible by the Council. However -- as shown on video -- only one statement was ruled "inadmissible": UN Watch criticism of the Council for ignoring victims of violations in 192 countries, and its failure to live up to the noble dream of its founders. |

Banned UN Speech: Human Rights Nightmare (by Hillel Neuer) Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Good comment Marked as spam Mr Hillel Neuer is a man of exceptional moral fiber and he is exactly what is needed in that decaying organization that the UN has become. Good comment Marked as spam Say something we don't like and we'll just wipe it off the record. Sounds like the so called "human rights council" deserves no respect at all. When arguements are too good and true, it can be hard to say anything at all to defend yourself, that is why this old man, says that statements like these are not allowed anymore. Good comment Marked as spam Not only is the UN useless, but on top of that it is additionally reprehensible for its purposeful villification of Israel and the Jewish people and for the manipulation that the various member nations engage towards those means, all at the expense of real lives and real people's suffering. ORG Hillel Neuer of UN Watch exposes the hypocrisy of the UN Human Rights Council (March 23, 2007). For the first time ever, the Council president, Ambassador Luis Alfonso de Alba of Mexico, rejects the speech as "inadmissible" and bans it from ever being delivered again. a must see clip" -- Little Green Footballs blog "Bloggers cheer. com "Council President Luis Alfonso de Alba ruled the remarks inadmissible. |
