sides of the land border. We didn't get in a war.

7/25 Friend of mine's thinking about joining the armed forces.
He was thinking either marines or army. I was going to say that
marines are far more dangerous, but then I stopped and thought of
the Three Block War vs. the Navy shelling the crap out of Iraq
before the marine had to storm it; is the notion reversed now?
Does the army has a tougher job/more dangerous job than the marines

WASHINGTON (AP) - Two US Navy fighter jets plunged into the Persian Gulf Monday, after what initial reports suggest was a mid-air collision, a defense official said. All three pilots ejected safely from the planes and were headed back to the USS Harry Truman, the aircraft carrier they were operating from, according to the official, who requested anonymity because the information was preliminary and not yet released publicly. One of the F-18 jets that crashed held two pilots, the other held just one. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.
