Location 1 Sproul Hall Berkeley CA 94720-1199 USA Search Go Armed Robbery Caf Strada September 10, 2007 On September 9, 2007, at approximately 9:50 PM, BPD broadcasted a report of multiple robberies at Caf Strada on 2300 College Ave. The male suspect walked into the patio area and sat down at a table where a number of people were working on their laptops. In a quiet voice he told them to put their laptops in his duffel bag while displaying a handgun tucked in his waistband. The suspect fled the scene walking southbound on College. UCPD and BPD searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as follows: A Black male in his early 20s, 5'06" to 5'10" in height, with a thin build, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, a dark baseball cap and carrying a red or orange medium sized duffle bag.
