I had a really profound and meaningful time there, and I would write about it but it was like being transported to another dimension of space and time and you wouldn't be able to understand it without having been there.
It was my first time and all of the things people say about it are true. Besides, what do you expect when you have sex with 30 unidentifiable SF guys covered in playa dust?
brad ended up in the hospital due to an accute case of the ghey. I had a good time hanging out with everyone and met a ton of poly furries I plan to follow up with now that I'm back in the real world, I want to bring some of their wonderful transient joy to my everyday life!
for me it was time to celebrate life and morn the death of friends i lost in Iraq last time i was over there.... you can find a lot of amazing people at burning man..... you just have to be opened minded and be ready for an adventrure of a life time.... and the art work OMG all of it was amazing espicaly the temple of forgivnes....
i could go on and on about all i saw and did, but i don't think i could even begin to describe the experience. the first time i walked out onto the playa at night i gasped out loud. never have i seen so much creativity, mind-blowing engendering, beautiful art, or so many inspired and dedicated people in one place. the sheer size of the event and the amount of things to see and do was enough to initially send my (sober) head spinning from sensory overload. in less sober conditions it somehow felt a lot more comfortable...
Link) I went to burning crotch, it was so awesome, spiritual experience, drugs, ridiculous art structures, multi-colored weaved, giant rave etc etc. Actually I was pretty happy there were less annoying people around SF these past days.
