stm In 28 years of responding to fires and saving lives, Fire Capt. John Ghiotto of the San Diego Fire Department never thought his job would require him to attend a Gay Pride parade. Ghiotto and three other firefighters filed a sexual harassment complaint against the city's fire department last week after being forced to attend the parade in uniform despite objections they made to superiors. I think our officials up above need to look at this," Ghiotto said. The firefighters claim parade attendees made obscene gestures, uttered inappropriate remarks and displayed lewd behavior that made them uncomfortable. They also demanded a work environment without discrimination and harassment.
workplace I would have quit first before I was forced to attend a fagfest. This lezbo chief was so far over the line it's ridiculous. She's the one that should have faced disciplinary action.

View Replies To: stm I had the unpleasant experience of being on the wrong "end" of Bourbon Street during a Mardi Gras with my young bride where we witnessed, in the short time it took us to flee the area, vile public sexual acts by fags attending a boisterous outdoor drag queen contest. This is the kind of public behavior that the "Gay Pride" advocates want to mainstream and turn the entire country into San Francisco. The LezChief knew damn well what goes on at those events.
View Replies To: stm Jarman is obviously running for cover on this, but she has no wiggle room, since there was already another complaint from a previous parade a firefighter was ordered to attend and since she can't claim ignorance about the atmosphere in which these parades take place. Since Mayor Sanders appointed her and has supported her, he has no cover either. It's always fun to see these reverse discrimination suits arise, invoking the same politically correct statutes the homos have used to force acquiescence to their agenda. Turnabout is fair play and I'm predicting the city will have to settle and the chief lesbian will be bailing out, golden parachute and all.
Imagine a person of authority surviving making women walk against their will through crowds of men yelling sexual epithets and making obscene gestures at them. Any male that ordered this would be castrated first, shot second, then exiled.
View Replies To: FiCon I was driving from Orlando on business when I heard a local talk show host warning everyone not to go to Disney World that week because it was "Gay Pride Week" in the Magic Kingdom. I surfed around and heard a Spanish language station giving exactly the same warning!

View Replies To: Defend the Second This, from the Onion article: The Los Angeles Gay Pride Parade, Thorne noted, is part of a decades-old gay-rights tradition. But, for mainstream heterosexuals unfamiliar with irony and the reclamation of stereotypes for the purpose of exploding them, the parade resembled an invasion of grotesque outer-space mutants, bent on the destruction of the human race. I realize this is a parody article, but some things are almost unparodiable .

I read the complaint and it makes the firefighters case very clear. I know that in California their chance to win this lawsuit is slim but I hope I find out someday how it all turns out. Frankly the homosexuals have every right to their parade and to act like scum if they want during it. and any other government employee should have every right to decline participation in the same event.
View Replies To: Syncro I wouldn't feel safe in Florida either if I were you... especially when you take in Miami and the South Beach area. Panama City) and we're about 1162 miles from there, so the impact may be lessened a little.
View Replies To: stm Forcing others to celebrate in a so called "gay pride" parade should get someone fired. How they can call it "pride" when you have people shouting obscene things and walking each other around half naked on dog collars escapes me.
