Cloverfield Monster attributes From the Deep Sea, has claws, walks silently.. From the Monstrous Poster you can tell it is bright from if you look behind the building where the copters are circling.. It can probably emit a high range of energy from the Bioluminescence. Perhaps it snuck into a military section that contained weapons cache and then roared and emitted a Bio burst to blow them up (which explains why you can see rockets fly in the air) or it also shield itself with a bio energy shield that protected it from fire. like on the photos off the 01-18-08 website (girl's skirt from 1:24Am photo) and the circular mark on a guys tshirt on the trailer (at 1:20). Perhaps the sea monster uses its suckers to a human, injects them with "slusho" that will turn them into some kind of sea monster later, leaving this bioluminisent residue of some sort. According to myspace Robbie is in marketing and moving to japan. He got the job and probably signed a NDA and a picture of the monster and some of the stuff it contained. Maybe he took something or drank something he shouldn't have and the monster is coming for him. Who knows but it does seem Rob knows something and is wary. Slusho has 6 flavors you mix to the base (the substance of the monster). Each flavor is stored in some type of Deep Sea Diving suit. The more you drink the more you will turn into a sea creature. At 0:13-0:20 this sound is used for 01-18-08 monster at either 1:14-1:26 or at 4:26-4:35 this sound is used when the monster throws the head of the statue of liberty which sounds either Bionic or one of those old style UFOs flying upward toward space. Personally, since the Bloop sounds are associated with Cthulhu, has claws, comes from the deep sea, perhaps the substance is injected into humans to swallow their souls and turn them into slave sea creatures. This creature is too closely associated to Cthulhu to be an original monster. If it's titled "Overnight" you know it's just another smoke monster..
