Promax/BDA is an association for entertainment marketing, promotions and on-air design and gives out awards in 98 categories. Click 3X's project for Boards won Gold in the Experimental Design category and Silver for Sales and Marketing Presentation.
PC CLAIMS GRAND EFFIE> Marketing award show the Effies declared "Get a Mac" the year's most successful campaign, awarding Media Arts Lab\TBWA its Grand Effie at a ceremony in New York this week, citing Apple's market share growth of 42 percent. TBWA also won the most gold Effies with three, while Leo Burnett (11), JWT and DDB were the most awarded overall. The Effies recognize marketing communications, awarding both clients and agencies.
org TRIBAL DDB WINS THE WEBBYS> Tribal DDB was the most awarded ad agency at this year's Webby Awards (billed as the Oscars for the Internet), nabbing six awards for web campaigns for Philips ("Shave Everywhere"), Pepsi, MTV India and World AIDS Day. McCann Worldgroup and Mekanism won the branded content award for its Windows Vista site "Clearification", while Cramer-Krasselt won best viral for Careerbuilders "Monk-e-Mail".
