        \_ Didi's comment is .... interesting.
\_ The ex-debate is no longer worthy of discussion.
\_ Yeah, listening to your constituents makes you a pussy! Thank god
the Republicans are the kind of real men who know what's good for
           the rest of us! -dans
\_ dans, what are your political views?
\_ They're difficult to sum up briefly. Buy me a coffee some
time and we'll chat. Also, I find that I am increasingly
less concerned with what an individual believes than I am
with his or her ability to execute effectively. -dans
\_ executing dans sounds like a good start
\_ I am too inimitated to face you but I want to learn
\_ I am too inimitated to face you but I wish to learn
                    from you.

reddit The Nevada State Democratic Party is pulling out of a controversial presidential debate scheduled for Aug. The debate was being hosted by Fox News Channel and Fox News Radio, the Nevada State Democratic Party and the Western Majority Project. A Fox spokeswoman didn't immediately return a call for comment. John Edwards said Wednesday he would not participate in the debate, citing Fox's conservative ties as a factor. e-mail to the liberal website DailyKos, which was posted on the site. "We're definitely going to debate in Nevada, but we don't see why this needs to be one of them," it read. According to MoveOn, more than 265,000 people signed a petition sent to the Nevada State Democratic Party. a statement posted by the state Democratic Party has Sen. "This is more great news for Nevada," he said in the statement. "I'm happy FOX News will be a partner for the August presidential debate. Western issues will be a major focus of this debate in particular. With FOX News as our partner, candidates will have an opportunity to not only speak to Nevada voters, but voters across the West who will be instrumental to electing a Democratic president in 2008." Ailes lauded the idea, too: "FOX News is proud to be a leader in coverage of the 2008 campaign season and a co-host of this important presidential debate. We look forward to working with the Nevada Democratic Party and the Western Majority Project." letter posted on the party web site Wednesday, said Reid now shared activist concern about the event. Collins wrote the Reid "has asked us to take another look." A spokeswoman for the state party did not immediately return a call. I LOVE how the majority of you schmucks pigeon-hole everyone that doesn't like Fox News as Bush hating pinko leftist. Nothing like an ad hominine argument to get your collective brain trains to derail faster than an Amtrak engineer with a cocaine problem. They both demand that you see it this way and any other way is wrong. They should be more like C-span where they simply put a camera in the room and have you, as the viewer, formulate your own opinion. But maybe they took a way free-will with the Patriot Act. It would seem that this is no longer a core value of some Democrats. With luck, more moderate elements on the left will step up and throw the bums out. I expect my elected officials to act like mature adults. This just goes to show why John Edwards will never come close to the presidency. That's ok, it will give him some time to think about how disusted Jesus Christ would be about our greed. He can think about this in his personal mansion, inside his 5 acre buffer zone. OH DEAR GOD do they actually air opinions from the right as well as the left? And you're a fool if you don't reconize the lefties on that network, because they are there. They must be doing something right, because CNN has their own right winger in Glenn Beck now, and my guess is as long as being "right" proves to be PROFITABLE, you will see even more of it. If any network demands honesty in debate, it's Fox News. why are we spending almost 1/2 trillion dollars on this war and cutting domestic programs? Why is sacrifice a better word than waste when we talk about the almost 3,200 dead US troops? But if you look at it from another perspective maybe the Democratic Party taking FOX out of the picture means their tough. FOX has more to lose than the Democratic Party has in losing this debate. The Democratic Party dumped FOX and FOX has to live with it. You people need to get on the show "Are you smarter than a 1st grader?" For those who do not know what that show is, it's a new one that CNN is putting out for its constituents.
