3/4 I have about 150 VHS tapes that I want to throw away to save space.
Should I add these non-bio degradable and potentially toxic items
to the landfill, or are there better ways to dispose them?
\_ Sell them on the net.
\_ You can remove the coating on the tape with acetone and make
           ferrofluid with it.

I finded new way of making ferrofluid (substance that's liquid, but turn solid in the presence of a magnetic field). It's more cheaper then all other methods and it's very simply. You only need old record tapes or video tapes and acetone! nonexplosivesays: hay chuck you need to get your skills down start by going to the libairy and geting some books. once you master all the math and ohms law and shit like that you should check out 101 spy gadgets for the evil genius... chuck norrissays: hey im just starting this electronic building stuff. could any of you give me any tips on handeling and creating electronic stuff? html that uses a mixture of FeCl3 and FeCl2 with ammonia. FeCl3 is commonly available as PCB etchant, and FeCl2 forms in the process of etching, so I wonder if you can make ferrofluids from spend PCB etchant? You'd be contaminated with copper and/or copper oxides, but would that matter?
