echeevo99 (3 months ago) Not so much for greenpeace as much as against suburban warfare vehicles placed in natural settings like by streams and in fields of sunflowers. Like anyone who really loves nature buys a car that gets 9 miles to the gallon. it's like when GM bougth the production line for the hummer and with THAT deal they clossed down their bery own EV-1... Is all about oil, the people think that bigger is better but they haven't even seen TESLA motors roadsters, gosh I hope those plz make a Truck soon to make GM go down.

cardsin2005 (1 day ago) well all i know is that i drive a 57L V-8 Tahoe with that catalytic converter hacked off so it puts out even more shit to kill the earth. This is America where you are aloud not to care about shit like this, but my truck sounds great and really pisses off the tree hugger ppl. ryanwitski (2 weeks ago) Remember though it takes 100 TONS of coal to charge ONE electric car. and also be careful emissions has to do alot more about hydrocarbons than just mpg. Gm has a system called EGR that returns exhaust to burn off in the combustion chamber getting rid of almost all hydrocarbons and greenhouse gases. buddhasis (2 weeks ago) Going to private college doesn't make you better than someone who goes to a public one. The job market will still hire and fire you no matter where you got your education. It's about the fact that on average SUV's produce a ton of green house gases while there are better alternatives for transportation out there. Because of rising fuel costs we are seeing improvements in this because companies like GM were noticing drops in SUV sales. My in-laws own a new Envoy and that thig is basically just like a juiced up van, no balls like a REAL truck would have but gets 20 mpg highway. Everybody needs to leave GM alone, they also produced the cobalt and G5. the Z06 vette has 505 horsepower and gets 30 mpg and puts out so little hydrocarbons that they don't have to pay the extra "gas guzzler" tax. by the way GM was the first in america to have an electric car and it was cut due to lack of demand. and by the way I'm a college student at a private college! And one more thing, the cars made by GM for the size of the motor put out so little emmissions it's crazy. The new corvette Z06 has 505 hoursepower and around 496 ft/lbs of torque (turning force, I know they don't teach that in the caves) and it get 30 mpgThe hydrocarbons produced are also extremely low.

GM As part of a creative new ad campaign for the new Tahoe, General Motors has teamed up with Donald Trump's 'The Apprentice' franchise to create a website that allows prospectives to make their own commercials online. The website allows readers to select backgrounds, video shots, and input text in an attempt to win prizes ranging from a Jackson Hole Getaway to a trip to the Major League Baseball All-Star Game. Rather predictably, however, certain surfers have been using the spot-building website for purposes that don't exactly put Chevrolet's newest in the best light. Unfortunately, GM's webmeisters appear to be asleep at the wheel, as we can't imagine these derogatory ads staying up on purpose. "Carma Sutra": Learn to love in your Lamborghini (1/24/2007) Reader Comments (Page 1) 1 That is awesome! Was Chevy soooo naive to think the EVERYONE must love their products to use that advertising tool in Chevy's favor? MikeGR 8 Oh come ON Chevy, any idiot could have seen this coming from those high-horse Prius driving whack-jobs a mile away. Bitching and whining is their calling in life, and they'll do it at any opportunity. In fact, I must say, those commercials honestly did increase my desire to buy a Tahoe. I can't get mine to work >< I submitted it but haven't gotten an email back or anything. I can't believe this idea went through though--ANY time you allow people to write what they want, they'll take advantage of that.
