However, as Christians we should all be alarmed at the increasing number of Muslim followers in the US Let alone, those who are in positions of power. One needs to look no further than the middle east to understand the hatred that they possess towards us. For those that suggest that this is only a select group of Muslims, its time to wake up.........
We have a couple Muslim members of parliament in Canada -- one of them is even a conservative -- and we're still fine. Like Dave said, there are unsaved people in government who are at least as dangerous as any Muslim might be.

Quite frankly, I wouldn't vote for someone who follows the fundamental belief that any dead Christian is a good Christian (whether they acknowlege this belief or not). There are a lot of wolves in sheep clothing that masqurade as peaceful, conservative, (insert whatever you like). However, I don't recall the last time these individuals were lining up to behead you because of your faith in Christ...

The man who thinks it is ok for a father to place the private parts of his son in his mouth has been elected. A man who has written devasting literature about women and sex has been elected. If muslims take over my country, it is because many of the above type of people have been elected.

Brother's Keeper Brother's Keeper is offline Citizen Join Date: Oct 2001 Unfortunately, I am not surprised at the results of the overall election, the Republicans dropped the ball on too many important issues and this is the result. From what I understand from end time prophecies is the focus, ultimately, is the redemption of the Israelites. Part of the plan to accomplish that is to bring the Israelites back to depending on God alone to protect them, and to accomplish this I believe that America will either abandon Israel, or at the very least the US will be weakend as a country where we can't help them during a time of conflict. This landslide election for the Democrats will futher bolster the call for "getting out of Iraq", which ultimately will not only give comfort to our enemies, but also encourage them to bring the fight here to our soil. The direction our country is heading sickens me, however, my faith is in God not man and I trust in His plan and His will for our future, the road will get bumpy, but the ultimate destination for those who trust in Jesus as their Lord and Savior will make it more than worth any trials we may face over the coming days.

America is a chief enemy of the islamic state, and thus it is a very dangerous precedent to allow a member of their religion into power, even if he himself is a peace-loving fellow. A German would never have been elected during WW2, nor a Japanese man. Sometimes, ya just gotta put aside the PC garbage and play the safe cards.
