10/19   Has the Bay Area economy improved, or have more people moved in than
        out?  I noticed that the morning commute on San Mateo Bridge west-bound
        has become more busy these days compared to earlier this year.
        \_ Anecdotal so take it with some salt: I turned off my resume on the
           job sites (monster, etc) about 2 years ago and deleted it a year
           ago.  In the last few months I've had *many* desperate recruiter
           types call me out of the blue offering jobs from their many years
           old copy of my resume from their private database.  YMMV.
