Ultra narrow car that'll increase capacity by as much as 2X!
(ob rollover and lawsuit discussions below)
        \_ 0-60 in 4sec!
\_ what does the "(ob rollover ...)" line mean?
           \_ ob = obligatory
        \_ 0-60 in 4sec! 1000 lb-ft torque!
\_ ...it won't roll over, it's got heavy-ass batteries on the bottom
read the site. they're getting a patent for the wildly novel
concept of using batteries as ballast.
\_ Did they take into account the upward shift of the CG when the
vehicle is driven by the average fat-ass American?
\_ The vehicle weighs an amazing 3000 pounds (is that a typo?)
even the fattest American won't affect it much.
\_ 3000lb with no regenerative brakes. This vehicle is not
going to be very energy efficent.
                      \_ http://www.commutercars.com/features100.php
claims 2200lbs and regenerative brakes. The T600 is
their like "race car for rich people" version. Also,
electric motors are much more efficient than IC or
Diesel. This is why gas + fuel cell + electric
                         motors is almost a win.
\_ I didn't realize there are more than one model
until now! Gee, the web pages are confusing.

9/15 I have a rc car from about 2 -3 years ago, the "Vertigo Super Top".
The battery pack is shot and I can't find the manufacturer or
any hobby store online that sells a 4x2 hump pack. Are there any
rc fans here who can point me to a reputable hobby shop, online
instructions for building my own, or anything else that might get
        my car going again? Thanks!

5/14 I've started getting into biking recently and started looking
around at the types of bikes out their in the market. One
thing I've noticed was that there were these super-expensive
high-end bikes like Look and Cervelo that looked pretty advanced

6/8 I want to sell my 2003 Kawasaki EX500 (500R). It has 9800 miles
on it and I take very good care of it but it has been dropped

" This site, which will be updated when the Tango is complete, will try to provide all the information you're looking for. The Tango, the first vehicle produced by Commuter Cars, will be a prime example of what we believe the future of commuting will be. UPDATE 6/1/00: The Tango prototype is nearly complete except for a paint job, some interior work, and the inevitable future modifications. I will be posting photos of the Tango with its new Zenith Blue Metallic body shortly. Our plan is to drive up to Vancouver, BC by June 13 and then south roughly through Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and back to Spokane. The long legs of the journey will be done towing our range-extending hybrid trailer, while in-city driving can be done using only the batteries. I regret that our patent pending status prevents us from publishing more details about the Tango, but you can look forward to a full-featured web site as soon as we receive our patent.

This car has not been designed yet as it will require a team of engineers, tens of millions of dollars, and at least 18 months to meet all of the safety requirements. Federal requirements include air bag systems and crash testing that must be passed even if the occupants are not wearing seat belts. Even though every production car has passed federal testing, none of them would pass the inspection required by any major racing organization. We will attempt to meet both road and race standards with our production vehicles. Features (subject to change) Performance: * Zero to 60 in seven seconds * 1/4-mile in 16 seconds * 5-star NHTSA static rollover resistance rating Interior/Exterior: * Fiberglass body * Cloth interior * A/C & heater * 100-Watt sound system Mechanical: * Front- or rear-wheel drive via two 50 kilowatt hub motors * AC controller with 100 kilowatts of power * Unequal-length control arm front and rear suspension;
