Pig Calling Contestant They should because they are the same! No, not a satire of Mohammed nor any other sacred Islamic figure but a photo of Jacques Barrot, a pig squealing contestant at the French Pig-Squealing Championships in Trie-sur-Baise's annual festival. Counter Terrorism Blog and others have reported Danish Imam Ahmad Abu Ladan, leader of The Islamic Society of Denmark, toured the middle east to create awareness of supposed anti-Islamic cartoons and included the above black and white photo as well as two other undocumented examples. Akhmad Akkari, spokesman of the tour, explained that the three drawings had been added to "give an insight in how hateful the atmosphere in Denmark is towards Muslims." Akkari claimed he does not know the origin of the three pictures. He said they had been sent anonymously to Danish Muslims. However, when Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet asked if it could talk to these Muslims, Akkari refused to reveal their identity. BBC World aired a story on 1-30-2006 showing the three non-published images and claimed they had been published in Denmarks Jyllands-Posten, these images however had never been published in Jyllands-Posten. NeanderNews wonders if Jacques knows what he has started? The first one should have been, "Is this photo even a satire on Muhammad? And now that we know where it came from, it poses other thoughts. One is, "If any random rendering or photo with porcine features is considered this dangerous in the Islamic world, how close are we to dialog with them?" NeanderNews reports that the vile Danish imams apparently cruise MSNBC looking for things offensive to Islam. The audacity of these liars, to threaten the civilized of the earth and demand that we change our ways. The incredible fecklessness of Western governnments that try to appease this dreck. tell us why these people should not be slapped down, punished and ridiculed like the criminal lowlifes they are. Well, NeanderNews has done some investigating, and it turns out that one of the pictures isn't of Muhammed at all - it's a picture of Jacques Barrot, a contestant in the 2005 French Pig-Squealing Championships. Just in from London Some pictures from London, found at Spreeblick (by Johnny, who doesn't believe anything). And while I am at it, here's more of a story behind the pictures.... In what is becoming standard fare in the world of Islam, Imam Ahmad Abu Ladan, head of the Danish Islamic Society, has been hawking a phony cartoon he apparently made up showing Muhammed with a pig's snout. At least one of the three additional fake Muhammad photos being circulated by the Danish Imam Ahmad Abu Laban have been traced to the source, and the Danish Imams are left exposed. The frightening thing is that with all the tension between the Western world and Islam right now, these small things are the sort that could be used as an excuse to trigger a third world war. And someone may have even added fuel to the fire on purpose. In other news, Gateway Pundit continues the exploration of how this whole mess started, and where the three "faked" cartoons came from. Meanwhile, Michelle Malkin has been following this story pretty closely... You might also want to check out her post on the UK Muslim cleric found guilty of incitement today. Abu Hamza al-Masri was found guilty of encouraging violence and racial hatred. Observations The death toll continues to rise as rioters tried to overrun a peacekeeping outpost in Afghanistan that houses Norwegian troops. In total, at least six people have been killed since the Islamists took offense at... The very FACT that the Danish imams and whoever else went on that trip with the original twelve + three drawings which included this pose from the French hog-calling contest, and tried to pass them off as genuinely representative of the feeling of the Danes toward Islam; the very fact that these men tried to INCITE hatred in the hearts of others against a whole country is VISCIOUS, MALICIOUS AND DESERVES INTERNATIONAL SANCTION AND CONDEMNATION FROM THE COURT IN THE HAGUE! Iran is behind this and Iran should be made to pay a price for this inflammatory incitement to international bad will and physical violence resulting in deaths! Fake Cartoon Update When Imam Ahmad Abu Ladan, leader of The Islamic Society of Denmark, went on his little publicity tour to show the Muslim world just how persecuted Denmark's Muslims were, he carried with him a folder containing the Jyllands-Posten cartoons (almost 3 ... No, not a satire of Mohammed nor any other sacred Islamic figure but a photo of Jacques Barrot, a pig squealing contestant at the French Pig-Squealing Championships in Trie-sur-Baise's annual festival. NeanderNews discovered this photo, taken by Bob Edme of AP, posted on an August 15, 2005 AP story seen here on MSNBC's website. As Neanderman's operative, I have to say that some of you commentators are missing a point. It is quite possible that some bigot sent a copy of the photo to a Muslim's home and scrawled the name of the Islamic prophet onto it. So what we've discovered here is the original origin of the photo, not the truth of how it was actually used. I think it's important to keep the first possibility open. However, I think at this point it's equally or even more possible (considering Akkari's motives) that he found the image himself. Now matter what the case may be though, it's still relevant to the current rage around the world. The fact is that porcine images themselves have become dangerous. The fact that Islamofascists around the world will probably, when they work up enough rage, now call for poor Jacques's dismemberment no matter how much he provides hard proof that he is not satirizing Mohammad in the photo, but is at a pig squealing contest. People everywhere could be in danger if they teach nursery school children that cows say "moo" and pigs say "oink". I can see the Arab Newspaper headlines now, "children in US and Europe are taught to revile Mohamed by saying "oink". Seems that the Danish immans that toured the middle east inciting folks to voilence over the insulting cartoons published in a Danish newspaper added a few extra insuling cartoons of their own. Celtic Semite, you're correct that it's possible t...
