\_ The guy's whole act is making fun of Kazakhstan? Where is he
           from?
\_ Making fun of Kazakstan is incidental. The main act is to
pretend to be a reporter from Kazakhastan and ask wierd
wierd interview questions and try to get a funny response out of
              the subject.

5/16 Can anyone tell me what Greece is hoping for by rejecting austerity?
From here it seems like the austerity is a pretty generous attempt
to keep Greece from imploding entirely. Are they hoping the
Germans will put them on eternal state welfare, or what?
Also, why would an outright default mean they must leave the Euro?

12/15 I'm planning on traveling to Europe and I was wondering if there's
any reason I shouldn't be able to use a US power tap/strip (no surge
suppression) with just a plug adaptor (i.e., no voltage conversion).
This would be for use with electronics that accept 100V-240V. While
the power strip is intended for use at 120V, it's just wires, right?
(Also, this power strip has no power LED or similar.) If anything,

Reuters Kazakhstan threatens "Borat" with court Mon Nov 14, 9:13 AM ET ASTANA (Reuters) - Kazakhstan's Foreign Ministry threatened legal action on Monday against comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, who wins laughs by portray ing the central Asian state as a country populated by drunks who enjoy c ow-punching as a sport. Baron Cohen, who portrays a spoof Kazakh television presenter Borat in hi s "Da Ali G Show", has won fame ridiculing Kazakhstan, the world's ninth largest country yet still little known to many in the West. Baron Cohen appears to have drawn official Kazakh ire after he hosted the annual MTV Europe Music Awards show in Lisbon earlier this month as Bor at, who arrived in an Air Kazakh propeller plane controlled by a one-eye d pilot clutching a vodka bottle. "We do not rule out that Mr Cohen is serving someone's political order d esigned to present Kazakhstan and its people in a derogatory way," Kazak h Foreign Ministry spokesman Yerzhan Ashykbayev told a news briefing. "We reserve the right to any legal action to prevent new pranks of the ki nd." Cohen's earlier jokes about the Central Asian state include claims that t he people would shoot a dog and then have a party, and that local wine w as made from fermented horse urine. "We view Mr Cohen's behaviour at the MTV Europe Music Awards as utterly unacceptable, being a concoction of bad taste and ill manners which is c ompletely incompatible with ethics and civilised behaviour," Ashykbayev said. Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen 'Borat' gestures at a photo opportunity af ter a news conference in Lisbon November 2, 2005. Kazakhstan's Foreign M inistry threatened legal action on Monday against comedian Sacha Baron C ohen, who wins laughs by portraying the central Asian state as a country populated by drunks who enjoy cow-punching as a sport.
