\_ A guy was recently killed by a deer. They can inflict some
damage. However, why this guy didn't shoosh it out of the house
           is anyone's guess.
\_ Mynd you, m00se bites kan be pretti nasti.
\_ Heh. I just rewatched that this week. Heh heh.
\_ Is the guy a pro wrestler or something?

8/1 Suppose your house is already paid off and you retire at 65.
How much expense does one expect to spend a year, in the Bay
Area? Property tax will be about $10K/year for a modest $850K
        home. What about other stuff?
\_ I think at age 65, health insurance is the next biggest expense.
\_ I am thinking that we can have a nice middle class

minimum interest rate and you're not sure whether you're going to
buy a house in 1-5 years. Should one put that money in a more
risky place like Vanguard ETFs and index funds, given that the
        horizon is only 1-5 years?

Now she has to deal with a bunch of young dot-comers, and they're
pain in the ass. -Only a BS in EEC$

Goldsberry finally subdued the five-point whitetail deer that crashed thr ough a bedroom window at his daughter's home Friday. When it was over, b lood splattered the walls and the deer lay dead on the bedroom floor, it s neck broken. Goldsberry was at his daughter's home when he heard glass breaking. "I was standing about like this peeking around the corner when the deer c ame out of the bedroom," said Goldsberry. The deer ran down the hall and into the master bedroom "jumping back and forth across the bed." Goldsberry, about 6-feet-1 and 200 pounds, entered the bedroom to confron t the deer and, after a brief struggle, emerged to tell his wife to call police. Goldsberry finally was able to grip the animal and twist its neck, killing it. Goldsberry, sore from the struggle, dragged the dead animal out of the ho use. He was walking bowlegged for a while," Depu ty Doug Gay said. At this time of year, a buck that sees its reflection in a window often c harges, believing it is fighting off a rival, Gay said. "He's in the freezer," the man said before walking to the kitchen and sho wing off pounds of freshly wrapped venison.
