The tracks include performan ces by Stanford students, faculty, alumni and guest artists. It's a great idea, and I'd like to see other performance spaces follow su it, from universities to museums to theatres (especially my old school, Berklee College of Music in Boston).
From the Stanford press release: Today, the university will publicly debut a project called Stanford on iT unes, providing Stanford-related audio content via the iTunes Music Stor e, Apple's popular music jukebox and online music store. Stanford on iTu nes will give alumni and the general public free access to a wide range of Stanford-specific digital audio content.
