9/16 Anyone out there have any tips/recommendations for juggling clubs?
I've juggled bags for a while, and would like to give clubs
a whirl. Willing to spend up to ~$100 for a set of 3, wondering if
anyone has tips for something good for beginners to start with that
will also still be good later on as well? e.g.:

\_ I've juggled with a lot of different clubs, and there really
isn't a whole lot of difference in terms of being able to learn.
It's nice to have a soft handle/end cap because you wind up
dinging your fingers less often that way. But other than that
there aren't a lot of major differences other than appearance
(which matters if you want to perform).
Come by the Berkeley Juggling+Unicycle Festival and you can
try out a bunch of different ones; there will probably be vendors
there, too.

For others, juggling brings to mind weathered street performe rs tossing chainsaws and melons alongside practiced punchlines and a hat for donations. But there is another side of juggling that most will nev er experience, a world of friends and games, workshops and camaraderie, colleagues trading techniques and obscure passing patterns. Never experi ence, that is, unless they attend that rarest of events, the juggling fe stival. Now you have an opportunity to not only look behind the curtains of the j uggling world, but to join that community in its purest expression. The Berkeley Juggling Festival is on its way, and we should have a little so mething for everyone: from 11-club passing workshops to a "construction zone" where we promise we can teach anyone the basics. and at the end of the day a fabulous public show, chock fu ll of local talent showcasing skills from juggling to aerial dance.
