View Replies To: navysealdad Well after Time does a major piece on his resume, it was looking more and more likely. Still this is like being surrounded by sharks and cutting off your finger tip to distract them.
View Replies To: navysealdad How about Schmucky Chucky "Cheap Shot" Schumer? If HE had any dignity, he would have resigned from the human race years a go.
View Replies To: Ed_in_NJ If he's not well-qualified for his job, and if he screwed up, then I say goodbye and good riddance.
View Replies To: jbwbubba His resume was very light to begin with here. When it was easily document ed that he flat out lied on his resume, that was unrecoverable. He lied about being on the board of directors of a nursing home. Minus Katrina, even if Katrina didn't h appen, and somebody discovered all his lies on his resume, he would have had to step down. T he FBI apparently forgot how to do background checks though.
After the Time hit piece he's being made a distraction by the press. Funny, they didn't look at his resume when he handled the 4 hurricanes in Florida last year.
View Replies To: SE Mom I think he ought to be replaced with a military guy, especially if the na tion now expects FEMA to be its first responder.
View Replies To: navysealdad People saying he had no credentials, specifically bug eyes Pelosi, ever s o conveniently leave out the fact Brown managed all the Florida Hurrican e relief in 2004. Seems when a Republican is president the liberals expect to not even get a hangnail from a Category 5 hurricane.

And he may have been ok for the "standard hurricane" (if there i s such a thing). But Katrina and the flooding may have been just way too big a task for him (and probably most other people). Katrina clean-up a nd rebuilding is going to take a loooong time. With that said, Nagin and Blanco should follow his lead.
View Replies To: navysealdad It seems that Republicans always back down, supposedly so that the attent ion can be taken off them and where it should be, but good lord, wasn't he in LA a couple of hours after the hurricane hit? What's needed is for the governor and mayor to step down, but I heard a interview with the Lt.
View Replies To: mewzilla I think he ought to be replaced with a military guy, especially if the na tion now expects FEMA to be its first responder. Maybe we should just get rid of FEMA Less bureaucracy has to be better.
