9/2 Ha-ha
http://drudgereport.com had a photo of Dubya talking with the two African
American women. Then I submitted aspo's transcript and the motd link
to the CNN video. 15 minutes later and the photo's no longer there.

2/10 I like Woz, and I like iWoz, but let me tell ya, no one worships
him because he has the charisma of an highly functioning
Autistic person. Meanwhile, everyone worships Jobs because
he's better looking and does an amazing job promoting himself
as God. I guess this is not the first time in history. Case in
point, Caesar, Napolean, GWB, etc. Why is it that people

3/26 Things I learned from History: Lincoln was photographed with
killer. Lincoln had 3 male lovers (he was bisexual!).
Kennedy had an affair with a Nazi spy. Elenore Roosevelt
was a lesbian!!! Nerdy looking Ben Franklin was a suspected
killer and quite a ladies man. WTF???
\_ Did it mention anything about Washington and the cherry tree?

12/4 Why aren't there as many comedians making fun of Obama as
there are making fun of GWB?
        \_ he's not as ridiculous.
\_ No one was making fun of Dubya after only one year in office either.
In fact, making fun of him after 9/11 was likely to get you lynched.
Wait until O's second term, then people will really start to light

4/9 I've been reading articles about piracy and it's not really an issue
of there being just two dozen ships to patrol a large area. It
only really takes one ship, if it's the right ship (an aircraft
carrier). The Navy should be using helicopters and ship-based
aircraft (e.g., Harriers) to patrol and respond to these incidents
and then you only need a couple of destroyers to perform

11/6 How a photographer can change opinion, subtlely via lighting,
        composition, contrast, color:
        http://strobist.blogspot.com/2008/11/vote-and-consider-uplighting.html
\_ A couple years ago someone posted a link on motd which was a
headshot of Dubya taken with a wide-angle lens at close-up distance.
He looked stupid in that picture. The photog did it on purpose

11/4 Gee. I have always hoped that the first black POTUS would be Powell.
Now this 47-yr-old dude stole the opportunity created by Dubya. In a
way Dubya is like Gobachev -- they both instrumented their parties'
        demise.
\_ Powell fucked us all by backing Dubya in saying there were WMDs in
           Iraq.

8/20 Get ready for President McCain!
\_ if dubya can be President, anyone can
           \_ And reelected, at that!
              \_ ugh i hope not.
        \_ الله أَكْ!

The staff is planning to do several stories on this and not just one big article. For days now, the NYT has been chasing down the rumors of what the LA TIMES may be investigating about Carter but didn't have much success. Finally, this afternoon, the NYT made some headway, at least enough to rush out a story.
