8/4     Suppose my lame MPEG still decoder could only decode I-frames.  If I
        had an I-frame and a P-frame, is it easy to combine them into a new
        I-frame and feed it to my decoder?  Maybe just copy over the
        non-trivial slices from the P-frame to the I-frame?  Am I insane?
