Fear! \_ As I recall, danh uses tinyurl, not http://csua.org. \_ And he usually signs his url posts as well. Besides, this is way sub-par to danh's standards. \_ It's a CT for crying out loud. danh would have posted a color photo. |

The computerized tomography scan i mages revealed a steel hook impaled in a man's left temple and through h is right eye. The hook came within millimeters of striking Gail Creek in the brain while he was taking a bucket off a backhoe in December. The b ucket turned over, hitting Creek in the face, followed by the hook. Two months after the accident, Creek knows it's a miracle he's alive. This i s a side view of how the steel hook was impaled in Gail Creek's head. Al though the hook severed both his optic nerves, leaving him blind, Creek has not lost hope that his remaining senses will help him relearn simple tasks, like how to walk to the kitchen to get a glass of water. |
