7/13 Top ten movie car chases:
        http://money.cnn.com/2005/07/12/Autos/funonwheels/car_chases/index.htm
\_ Fuck all car chases, and fuck all cars. A car chase can ruin a whole
movie. I had to walk out of Ronin because of its endless car chase.
What the fuck is the matter with people that they like watching
people drive around? If you want to watch people drive around,
you can do that anytime, anywhere. Why not list the all time
best movie scenes where someone takes a shit in real time?
\_ Don't forget the guns. -John
              \_ What about the guns?
\_ Any self-respecting car chase needs serious guns.
\_ There've been versions of this list before. Anything without
The French Connection is bunkum. Where Eagles Dare gets
           honorable mention. -John
\_ Of course, The Bourne Supremacy chase would have been better if the
           cinematography hadn't been in handheld-vomit-inducing-cam.

Research used cars NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Steve McQueen's car chase scene in the 1968 movie "Bullitt" still ranks as the most popular car chase scene in Hollywood h istory, according to a survey. The detective movie, which featured McQueen driving a Ford Mustang in a h igh-speed chase through the streets of San Francisco, captured 40 percen t of the votes in the survey. The email survey was conducted by Hagerty Insurance, a company that insures collectible cars, and had nearly 2,000 respondents. "Bullitt" beat out its nearest rival, the 2000 remake of the movie"Gone i n 60 Seconds," by almost a five to one margin. The action comedies "Smokey and the Bandit" and "The Blues Brothers" took the third and fourth spots. Rounding out the list, the original 1974 version of "Gone in 60 Seconds" finished fifth, followed by "The French Connection", "Ronin", "Vanishing Point", the recent remake of "The Italian Job" and "The Fast and Furiou s" which claimed the tenth spot. Those films that just missed the cut included the "The Bourne Supremacy," the Ducati motorcycle scene in "The Matrix Reloaded" and "Days of Thund er" featuring Tom Cruise.
