Harking back to the glory years of the dot com era, he is advocating for a continued shift towards bright students forming small proof-of-concept startups and competing to be acquired by larger corporations. This summary certainly doesn't do him or the talk justice, but this guy is BIG - if any of you survived 61A or have heard of Lisp, you've probably heard of him. He also has the claim to fame of building one of the first web applications on the Internet, later sold to Yahoo for gobs of money. Now, he searches the country for smart graduates and ideas to invest in. edu/ * CSUA Meetings: Politburo meetings for Spring 2005 are scheduled for e very Monday at 5:30pm in 337 Soda Hall.
