knows, why is nobody looking for the reason?

and only occasionally harming US soldiers that happen to be in the

1/4 Why the fascination with blowing up airplanes? Airports have tight
security. It doesn't seem worth it. It's far easier to derail a
train or set off explosives in a crowded place like a theater or
sporting event. As many or more people will be killed and it will
still make the news. I don't get why all of our security, and
apprently much of the terrorist's resources, is focused on airplanes.

KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle Morgan Spurlock got famous from his Oscar-nominated documentary Super Siz e Me He ingested big McDonald's meals three times a day for 30 days, th en blamed McDonald's for his bloated body and dodgy health. Now he's usi ng his 30-day premise to get Americans to ingest his version of radical Islam on cable's FX Network. Wasn't it possible that Mr Stacy would come out seeing that there isn't Islamophobia to the ext ent that the Muslim community claims? Might he see that there is disturb ingly strong support in the Detroit-area Islamic community for terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah--a fact regularly documented even in the nor mally pliant Detroit media? "Morgan wants the show to demonstrate to Ameri ca that we are Islamophobic and that 9/11's biggest victims are Muslims. View Replies To: KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle These knuckleheads are more interested in being iconoclasts (their "docum entaries" are all about them, them, them) than in considering the false and harmful natures of broadcasting their tripe. View Replies To: Soliton Rove is exactly right about the Party of Terrorist Rights, I'm afraid. Liberal "patriotism" consists of hiring lawyers to defend terrorists who want to murder us. It consis ts of insinuating that the legal election of a president during this war was illegitimate and undemocratic. Barbara Ehrenreich did it for like a year to write "Nickle and Dimed". I think a much more interesting show idea would be for him to live openly as a Jew in Saudi Arabia for a month. View Replies To: KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle Might he see that there is disturbingly strong support in the Detroit-are a Islamic community for terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah--a fact reg ularly documented even in the normally pliant Detroit media? To show the extent of problems involving islam in detroit, several "civil rights activists" (of a liberal bent no less) urged Shapton during this so called presidential campaign to address or acknowledge arabic islami c racism in detrot towards african americans. From what I gathered, some arabic stores openly discriminate against afri can americans and are hostile towards them at times along with insulting towards the "Nation of Islam" (which mainstream muslims see as a bastar dization of their faith and blasphemy). Sharpton refused and used some old tired "blame it on whitey" responses. Other democrats were asked to do the same for a debate scheduled there, m ost if not all, except Sharpton, didn't show up, fearing ambush. View Replies To: KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle This guy is a Michael Moore wanna-bee. He shortcuts his facts, misleads when it is convenient to do so and seeks out "experts" that try to please him by regurgitating his drivel back t o him. what we have here is a guy that eats nothing but burgers and fries for a month, feels bad, and the media hails him as a modern-day oracle. I wouldn't watch the movie, but one of my friends went, since he had a wh ole "anti-corporate" mindset. He found it demeaning, but what he says contradicts this article, accordi ng to him, this idiot would stuff himself silly with McDonalds food seve ral times a day, repeatedly, even if he wasn't hungry or if he was alrea dy full. My friend thought it came across more as a shot at fat people for constan tly eating junk, even when they don't have to, and getting health proble ms due to it. In theory, you could have substituted McDonalds with any restaurant, home or anything else, and gotten the same result, which kind of kills the p oint of the movie in the first place. View Replies To: KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle Considering that Islamofascists killed 3,000 Americans on 9/11 and that m ost of the terrorism in the world has Islamofascism behind it, I am high ly Islamophobic and proud. Let them change their culture and maybe I'll be less "phobic". View Replies To: KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle "Morgan wants the show to demonstrate to America that we are Islamophobic and that 9/11's biggest victims are Muslims." View Replies To: Sonny M Well, the Moslem Arabs were the first foreign slavers of the African Blac k, so bigotry shouldn't be a surprise. Real Moslems do indeed say that the Nation of Islam should be called the Nation of Kufr. View Replies To: martin_fierro You are right - the trend in documentaries of the filmmaker making himsel f or herself part of the movie has increased a lot over the last 10 year s It really compromises the quality of the work, and they seem to have no idea how bad it looks. View Replies To: petercooper Yea, I was particularly angry about him and his wife using the emergency room for non-emergency care. And acting like only people living who live in low-income areas have to pay a deposit to get the power turned on. View Replies To: Jacob Kell Real Moslems do indeed say that the Nation of Islam should be called the Nation of Kufr. The arab islamics are a hell of a lot more denigrating towards the nation of islam then anyone else is. Some of the things they say are easily racist and beyond unPC. Then again alot of sunnis hate shi-ites and call them a cult. Note that in Mecca, sometimes african americans are not allowed on the ba sis that some "arbitors" (ie cleric or judges or whatever you want to call them) sometimes rule they aren't true muslims based on them being i n the NOI. Thought the policy is supposed to allow them entry, it apparently can get subjective sometimes. View Replies To: somniferum and them getting all worked when they were presented with the bills- not realizing that when people go to the hospital who can't pay, we all pay in the form of higher costs. View Replies To: ItsOurTimeNow I love Rescue Me, though I wonder how realistic it is. As soon as I saw an ad for this show featuring the haughty Spurlock sayin g "what is it like to be a Muslim in TODAY'S AMERICA," with a sneer in h is voice, I knew this would be more America-bashing crud. I'm surprised there hasn't been more commentary from the conservative media so far. View Replies To: somniferum I was miffed at that, too, it was patently unrealistic. I have health ins urance, and I wouldn't have gone to the ER for the "sore wrist" he got d oing landscaping. I'd have bought my own ACE bandage, sucked it up, and gone back to work. The GF's UTI also struck me as suspiciously timed, an d something that doesn't need ER treatment so much as good hygiene and s ome cranberry juice. View Replies To: KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle Bit off topic, but I remember some professor, did a similar project, eati ng a McDonald's for every meal, but also exercised and was extremely act ive, he actually was in better shape the when he started; Although both needed a long break from fast food, lol Just goes to show some people don't take accountability for their actions , and are always the "victims", muslims are especially guilty of this no wadays. The show is manipulative and biased, but the guillible will eat it up. And those idiots didn't check the bus schedule in advance, then whined ab out how they had to pay cab fare after dining out. View Replies To: leoncaruthers Yeah, I saw the show too. The aver age (real) person would never have gone there or to a regular doctor for it. The average (real)person would treat themself and assume a few days of real work would solve the problem. View Replies To: KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle When I told Mr Spurlock's executive producer that I felt David Stacy was , well, a moron, she replied that Imam Husham Al-Husainy, a prominent De arborn Shia cleric, "said the same thing" and refused to continue teachi ng him about Islam for the show. View Replies To: commonasdirt The average (real) person would never have gone there or to a regular doc tor for it. I came in after they'd gone to the ER, but certainly saw them complain about the bills. My feeling was, they didn't look perm anently damaged, so whatever sent them to the ER couldn't have been that big a deal (no cast, no ongoing pills, no wheelchair, etc). I also thou ght that the average low income, insurance-less person would have found a free clinic or gee whiz, just dealt with it. Or, if an ER visit was ma ndated by the injury...
