        \_ You're a few days late, dupe-master.
\_ That's Darth Dupemaster to YOU.
\_ Clearly you don't understand what the Darwin award is. Train
           harder, grasshopper.
\_ It could still work if they burned their private bits off.
\_ *shrug* Article said nothing about that; if it had, I
wouldn't have posted my original comment.

8/12 Bored, watching TV, and came across this synopsis nugget
        for a Three's Company episode:
"[Janet's boss] Tina blackmails Jack into being at her
beck and call; otherwise she'll fire Janet."
The 70s were a weird time.

\_ Jeri Ryan's firm rear end gave us Obama. God bless her.
           \_ What about the front?
\_ How was this supposed to have come about?
\_ I thought I rehashed this for the motd. Jeri Ryan used to be
married to an Illinois senator. They had a messy divorce.

12/15 Anyone have opinions on media streamers that connect to your tv and
let you play all those bittorrented movies? I'm getting sick of
my xbox refusing to play every other video.
\_ My current solution is an old pc with a cheap video card, using
Synergy on my laptop. This plus every episode of MST3K has provided
           much entertainment.

11/6 Dow 2000 here we come!
\_ The three TIE fighters move in on Luke. As Vader's center fighter
unleashes a volley of laserfire, one of the TIE ships at his side is
hit and explodes into flame. The two remaining ships continue to
           move in.

Two British Star Wars fans sustained critical injuries after constructing their own lightsabers from fluorescent light tubes filled with liquid f uel. According to British media reports, a 20-year-old man and his 17-year-old female friend were filming a mock duel in homage to Star Wars: Episode III--Revenge of the Sith, the latest chapter of George Lucas' record-bre aking franchise. The two Brits suffered severe burns when their homemade sabers exploded. They have been hospitalized at Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire since the accident Sunday. Aside from fiery accidents, the Sith craze is being blamed on a string of robberies. In separate incidents in Illinois and Florida, dark side-ins pired crooks wearing Darth Vader helmets are being sought by police on a ssault and robbery charges. Meanwhile, in other Sith-related news, federal authorities have shut down online file-sharing network Elite Torrents. The network had Star Wars: Episode III--Revenge of the Sith available as a download hours before th e film even bowed in US theaters on May 19. Justice Department and Department of Homeland Security said users of the site had downloaded Sith more than 10,000 times in its first 24 hours of availibility. Still, the online leak hasn't hurt Sith's bottom line, as the film broke all kinds of box-office records, including a Chewbacca-size $50 million on its first day of release.
