5/20 If Germans heil to Hitler, does Hitler heil to anyone?
\_ He hails Victory. Sieg Heil!
\_ Well, Hitler is German, so he must heil himself. But, when
Hitler is heil'd he must always return the hiel. Therefore
Hitler finds himself in an infinite recursive heil loop.
\_ Austrian, actually, but good theory. "Mein Leben!" -John
\_ no better place to be recursive than hell.
\_ When he heiled himself in the mirror, he found himself in two
              infinite recursive loops.
\_ That's when he shot himself.
\_ This sounds suspiciously similar to the Al Bundy theory on
              garage sales.
\_ I never watched Married With Children, what was the Al
                 Bundy garage sale theory?
\_ The theory involves 'the final idiot.'
\_ Sounds like the dot com stock market strategy.

Matt Barry from Baltimore, Maryland I've been a big fan of the Jack Benny movie since I was 10 years old. The n, just earlier this year, I sought out the Mel Brooks version. I had be come a huge Mel Brooks fan and he is now my favorite entertainer. So I t hought I'd see this version just because I sorta kinda had to as a Mel B rooks fanatic. My grandfather (also a big Mel Brooks fan) had seen the f ilm on its release back in 1984 and thought it was a kind of pale copy o f the Jack Benny version, which he loves too. But I personally thought t hat the film was a brilliant motion picture and contained more laffs and better music than the original. Instead of try ing to merely copy the original performances, they create their own, equ ally-funny ones, especially Charles Durning and Christopher Lloyd. That underrated Jewish character comic George Wyner wa s also as funny as ever. Tim Matheson was good in his kind of bla nd role as the Polish Flier. But of course, the stars are Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft. Their highlights together include a Polish version of "S weet Georgia Brown." Brooks sings "A Little Peace," "Ladies," and (on th e soundtrack album only) "The Hitler Rap."
