When sheriffs deputies came to an alleged drug house on Thursday, they we re first confronted with a friendly bulldog puppy. Im listening to the (police) radio, and I hear, Call animal control, weve got an alligator, sheriffs inspector Doug Burkhart said. The county dog warden took the dog and 31/2-foot-long alligator away. Deputies arrested three men and confiscated drugs, cash and weapons. If the dog is not claimed by its owner, it may end up joining the other s ide of the law. Ill be giving the dog to one of the deputies who made the arrests, dog wa rden John Baird said.
