\_ Dear EuroMotders, are Europeans more tolerant to gays and lesbians?
Having been in Canada I can say that it is, but what about Europe?
\_ Boston schools are also the ones that teach fisting.
\_ About as consistently so as states/communities in the US. -John

ninonitti CONCORD -- For David Parker, the first alarm went off in January, when hi s 5-year-old son came home from his kindergarten class at Lexington's Jo seph Estabrook School with a bag of books promoting diversity. Inside we re books about foreign cultures and traditions, along with food recipes. by Robert Skutch, which depicts different kinds of families, including same-sex couples raising children. The book's contents concerned Parker and prompted him to begin a series of e-mail exchanges with school officials on the subject that culminated in a meeting Wednesday night with Estabrook's principal and d istrict director of instruction. The meeting ended with Parker's arrest after he refused to leave the school, and the Lexington man spent the ni ght in jail. Yesterday, Parker was arraigned in Concord District Court o n one count of trespassing, and a not guilty plea was entered on his beh alf. Bail was set at $1,000, and Parker was freed after being ordered to stay off Lexington school property. He is due back in court June 1 Par ker and his wife, Tonia, 34, who was also in court yesterday, said the d ispute arose because they asked school officials to notify them about cl assroom discussions about same-sex marriage and what they called other a dult themes. They also wanted the option to exclude their boy, now 6, fr om those talks. Parker said he met with school officials to gain those a ssurances and then refused to leave until he got them. View Replies To: ninonitti The Parkers can homeschool their kid. They don't have to subject him to t he multicultural liberal indoctrination that passes for public education . Withdrawing their child from Lexington's skrool would prove a point. H e's not the state's property to brainwash as it pleases. View Replies To: ninonitti It seems he was making a perfectly reasonable request of the district. Pe ople of non-Christian religions have had their children excluded from ce rtain teachings/classes or had the curriculum altered altogether. I don' t see how his request differs from others that have been granted. And people in my area wonder why I've withdrawn my kids from the public s crewal. View Replies To: goldstategop "Withdrawing their child from Lexington's skrool would prove a point." The best part besides blossoming you ng minds, who haven't had their natural human curiosity of the world cru shed.... Is the local and state school districts get paid per child that enrolls. My kids would mean many thousands of dollars for the teacher's union, an d the sociological overlords in the system. View Replies To: ninonitti Last I checked a Man could be arrested for talking about Dongs and Holes to a child. But now it seems ok if you're discussing sick and perverted sexual activi ties covered up by that infamous word diversity. If we promote it, maybe we can increase from, say , 2% to 5% the number of kids who homeschool. But still, in the near fut ure, the overwhelming majority of kids will be in the public schools. We need to be vigilant to do what we can to limit the harm. I live in a re d state and there is a lot less of that garbage here than in Mass. Kudos to the father in the article for doing what he could to protect his kid . View Replies To: goldstategop The Parkers can homeschool their kid. H e's not the state's property to brainwash as it pleases. However the fight should not be g iven up since there are many kids in that school who are still being ind octrinated. Schools need to be accountable and if people like the Parker s don't step up to the plate the schools will have free reign on taxpaye r dollars to teach what they want and how they want. Gabz "We don't view telling a child that there is a family out there with two mommies as teaching about homosexuality, heterosexuality, or any kind of sexuality," he said. "We are teaching about the realities of where diff erent children come from." This is how they claim immunity from the parental notification law. One mother called in who had encoun tered a similar thing; she was told the materials she complained about w ere "not about sex." View Replies To: ninonitti Ah, mandatory gay training for kids. How about mandatory sexual intercourse training from age 1? These liberal gay lesbian transgender people are totaly insane. But I definitely have a pro blem with gays indoctrinate the children to be gay.
