name under a fake first name but correct last name, and I'm not sure exactly what happened after that, but I couldn't manage to get it to accept my valid credit card number. I think it's probably because they wouldn't let me specify an alternate name for billing. Anyway, I didn't really use that domain and forgot about it, and assumed they would just cancel the domain or something. I mean really, if they accept my card and then order the domain and then don't charge my card (which is perfectly chargeable), it's their fault.
"Prewar Movement of WMD Material Out of Iraq" ISG formed a working group to investigate the possibility of the evacuation of WMD-related material from Iraq prior to the 2003 war. The declining security situation limited and finally halted this investigation. ISG was unable to complete its investigation and is unable to rule out the possibility that WMD was evacuated to Syria before the war. It should be noted that no information from debriefing of Iraqis in custody supports this possibility. ISG found no senior policy, program, or intelligence officials who admitted any direct knowledge of such movement of WMD Indeed, they uniformly denied any knowledge of residual WMD that could have been secreted to Syria. Nevertheless, given the insular and compartmented nature of the Regime, ISG analysts believed there was enough evidence to merit further investigation. It is worth noting that even if ISG had been able to fully examine all the leads it possessed, it is unlikely that conclusive information would have been found. Based on the evidence available at present, ISG judged that it was unlikely that an official transfer of WMD material from Iraq to Syria took place. However, ISG was unable to rule out unofficial movement of limited WMD-related materials.
the continental US, one nuclear warhead could cripple the country . knocking out electrical power and circuit boards and rendering the US domestic communications impotent.
They used to produce dimensioned lumber in the actual dimensions, but started undersizing so they could make more product from each tree. Since their customers were already used to similar differences in sizing between rough and surfaced boards, it was pretty easy to get their customers to accept it. As for the poster who thinks that the equipment in lumber mills can't provide 1/2" of accuracy, you're way off. You'll notice more variation in the dimensions of wood from it swelling and contracting as its moisture content changes with the humidity of the surrounding air than from variations in the milling process 4/23 Awesome series of essays written by a foreigner living in Saudi Arabia. Not unbiased commentary of course, but very well written.
Man, is that country going to be messed up if their oil production ever peaks. That article reinforces what I believe is the ONLY punishment that might deter terrorists: Give them sex change operations and dump them in a country like Iran, Pakistan or Saudi Arabia. Unfortunately, since the Royal Family numbers in the tens of thousands, there are quite a few who do not share their sympathies. That said, we made a great many deals with evil people and corrupt, broken systems during that episode. The letters are excellent--reminds me a bit of Graham Greene. However, the fact that he's still living there is kind of sad. You either dealt with them or they fell into the Soviet sphere of influence. The concept of aiding a neutral bloc went entirely counter to US foreign policy throughout the Cold War. It was "with us or against us" in many but not most situations.
