"They tried to flee after using the device but were wrestled down by the Palestinian Authority security personnel. Quiba was quoted as saying the Palestinian Authority immediately informed the Israeli government of the "attempt on Arafat's life." Samples of Ar afat's blood were tested in 16 countries and it was revealed that he had been poisoned by high technology, he said. "There were four people in all with Arafat at the time he was taken sick. If food poisoning was the cause then the others should also have suffer ed the same fate," Quiba said he had met Arafat a few days before his death and did not see anything wrong with his health.
