2/2 This is a really really cool CPU fan:

\_ Meh. All that metal and yet they use a central fan. Which means
their fins aren't getting near optimal air flow at all.
\_ WHat's so cool about it?
\_ This supermega CPU fan reminds me of those supermega spoilers
kids put on their souped up Honda Civic. It is both funny and
           ridiculous at the same time.

With the stock fan on my 34E, I was running about 58*C idle, at load it was pushing mid-upper 60*C's .... Throwing this puppy on with some Arctic Silver5 dropped temps WAAAY down -- I'm now reading 38-41*C idle, and under heavy loads i've yet to see i t over 50*C. I am running 90mm Thermaltake blue LED fans (one in one out) with the dia ls put into a blank 5 1/4" plate up front -- I've never had to turn them above half throttle which is still pretty much quiet.... With this heatsink it idles below 100F and under load it stays below 115. although if the board you pl an on using is already installed in a case then you have to remove it to install a plate on the back of the board (and carefully remove the old plate). This is an overclockers dream who doesnt want to invest absurd amounts of cash for water cooling. just installed on my sl-865pr o-775 with the lg775 p4 32ghz. My temp has decreased by 30 degrees C f rom 77 under full load to 43. Also read that the lock doesn't fit I had no problems at all. See compl ete review> I'm reading 46C Idle and 51C Load from the motherboard ( AMD2600+ Artic S ilver3 and Lapping) - I have another Tempsensor that is touching the cor e (AMDs have small core that the Sink touches so there is room to put a sensor Between CPU and Sink and touch the core) that reads lower - 41C I dle 46C Load. It came with a very large blemish (That took an hour of la pping to remove) right over the core - The system was running 70C+ with the blemish there. It seems like this could do more with two fans but I' m concerned about weight (Seems like a lot of weight to hang 6" off the CPU core). I'm very-very happy b ut this is a hobbyist part and end-user types might want to consider som ething less radical.
