10/26   is it possible/difficult to create a new toolbar button for firefox?
        I want the "up" button from the google toolbar back.

If the address bar has focu s when you press Alt + Up arrow then the address will be changed without loading the new address, otherwise the new address will be loaded. I was afraid it was going to sit in a feature request bank somewhere for months or more. Please don't bloat it with toolbar buttons, mouse gestures and what not! there's lots of times when a mouse click is quicker than the keyboard. If a site points you at a location nestled deep the bowels of an FTP server, it's neat to just be able to use Alt+Up to return to the previous directory, rather than having to click "Parent Directory" or worse, for those weird servers lacking that, having to edit the URL. org/more-info/digger - with both installed you can right-click the Go Up button and get such a context menu. This is not provided as an advertising medium, so posts with excessive nu mbers of links in will be discarded, as they are assumed to be spam. Jav ascript is used to stem the flow of auto-submissions.
