                       policy is not the reason why it's a bad thing to do.
                       For what it's worth, I see a lot of take-down notices
                       from RIAA and MPAA, but haven't seen any about TV shows
                       yet.  (Still, I don't think swapping TV shows is an
                       activity the CSUA should be condoning).  -tom
                       \_ FCC recently cleared tivo to allow file sharing.
                          TV is a broadcast medium, and doesn't infringe on
                          a commodity ala music/films.  I guess the cable
                          company could get up in arms that it's encroaching
                          on their household count, but i doubt they could.

                             to tape off the radio and pass copies around?
