9/26    I need ink for my Canon S800 printer. I'm wondering about using a
         "compatible" replacement ink cartridge, rather than the official
        Canon manufactured part. Any experiences with this sort of thing?

        \_ I've read that Canon's inkjets (the current crop at least) use
           the ink to cool the printhead.  Buy the real one.

        \_ If you use it for photo, stick with Canon.  I believe S800 and S820
           use same cartridges.  If so, Costco carries the ink.
